Have you ever thought about painting a scene featuring a gigantic rainbow? My other favorite all time song is "Over the Rainbow" by Judy Garland. My mother once wrote a poem called "A Beautiful Christmas Rainbow". She was inspired by a real life happening. I was 8 years old and had been grocery shopping with her. It was Christmas Eve 1965. We lived on a small farm in the mid South and when we pulled into our driveway and when we got out of our car, I looked up into the heavens back in the East, and I saw the biggest most majestic rainbow you could ever imagine and I exclaimed in a loud voice "Look Momma, a beautiful Christmas Rainbow"! It stretched from the North all the way to the South across the East. I wish I had a copy of the poem with me so I could share it with you. Maybe I can get it from my youngest grown child. She has all my things in storage.

I really enjoyed sailing along with you on this painting. I really liked the feelings I got from the mist. I was reminded of one of my favorite songs people often requested I play, an old love song that has been recorded many times by many artists but since I'm a trumpet player I picked one of my favorite renditions by Clark Terry. Since you asked me to share some of my favorite trumpet tunes I feel that "Misty" is very fitting for this painting and it's artist. You have such a fun warm smile and demeanor. I like how you positioned your camera so you can be seen as well as your painting. It helps the viewer feel connected making for relaxing ASMR feelings.
