I've collected ball-jointed dolls for years & have done loads of upkeep, so there was some 'zoned out working' Zen & some 'tutting over damage' that comes with the hobby. Using these experiences as a window to being a precious doll being carefully examined, cleaned & repaired was fascinating. Your gentle voice, the chimes & birdsong were so soothing, even during the tragic parts. As though the doll's existence was turning a corner & becoming something better, safer. This was creative, sensitive, so well-executed & full of ASMR-inducing sounds.

I don’t usually comment on videos, get nervous and hope I don’t get trouble for it since I tend to be too honest and babble (apologies in advance if this is long), but I just had to say on the off chance that you see this comment that this is one of the most incredible and beautiful ASMRs I’ve ever listened to (of which there have been many). I’ve fortunately not suffered abuse like the doll has, but I have felt very much like one at times due to, and felt beaten down by, physical and mental health conditions, no less have a hidden disability. The latter feels mirrored to me by the doll’s scars being hidden in a way since it’s not obvious to people the struggles I have. I can’t tell you how amazing an ability you have to have, for me, made the listener feel so safe, cared for and appreciated. Everything about this - the way you spoke, the ambience in the background, pacing, the concept itself which I’ve never seen (and is fascinating! Such an interesting idea!), the script which feels so realistic and then the respect with which the doll is treated; no less heard and asked for consent through everything that needs to be done with it - is just breathtaking. The quality is also incredible, sound-wise! You have a beautiful voice and way of speaking ❤ I know that might sound a bit dramatic and I’m sorry for the text wall (please no one come for me I’m already in a bad place lol), but as someone who’s been going through a really rough time lately and has been brutal towards themselves like the doll has been with itself, this just resonated with me so, so much. I can’t word how grateful I am for all the effort you put into this and for sharing it with the world. I hope you have the most amazing day and week and month and can know that you’ve genuinely helped someone across the world so much by making this. Omg this was super sweet and wholesome 🥺 The amount of detail and effort you put into this was amazing! Kinda helped the world feel a little less lonely and broken for a little bit. It definitely soothed a part of my soul that I’ve had to piece back together as an adult. I feel like maybe I interpreted it as helping an individual pick up their pieces, showing them that they matter in this chaotic universe, listening to them tell their story, talking to them about healing, helping them pick themselves up, and taking care of them… but shown through the perspective of a doll. I guess I didn’t necessarily see a doll in my head, more like just a kid version of myself maybe? Idk, it makes sense in my head. It was definitely the equivalent of a hug on the cracks in my soul, especially with just how calm and caring you were while making sure to inform of what’s happening and ask for consent and stuff. Oh this was really relaxing. I especially enjoyed the ambience and other sfx! Fell asleep to this ridiculously fast. This is definitely going to become a staple for the next few weeks. I see a lot of promise in your videos, so please continue! Also, I very much prefer longer videos as I can set them down without worrying about hitting replay a bunch. I'd personally take fewer videos as a trade off but of course, totally up to you!

Thank you! I also love longer video formats. So much M4F content is sub 15 minutes, even sub 10 minutes and that's just not enough to get relaxed to I think. I want to try to keep everything at least 20+ minutes long but I aim for 30+ if I can.
