ASMR Request (Whispered) Library visit/Mystery/Murder section/Book page turning/Dust jackets

Finally got to go visit our local library. This video is a request fulfillment for a woman who put in her request over a year ago! I surely hope she gets to see this because it has been a long time waiting. The darn Coronavirus put a lot of things to a halt. Here we are finally. Making this video may have been the reason I got the virus myself! Wherever do germs lurk? But we can't stop living now, can we? We should not fear. But here it is. I am still alive and I love this video. I hope you will too.

I worked in a library until April when my contract ended, and I missed my job so much that I couldn't watch this video, it was to painful to even see a library, but today I got a call and I can start working in another library starting from next week! To me it's my dreamjob, next to being a writer. So now I was able to watch this after all and it's soooo soothing and relaxing! Thank you so much.

I haven't been to a library in years! I miss the smell of library books, and I love their plastic covers. I used to go to the library every weekend with my mom when I was a kid. I'd check out two books and read them both over the weekend. Also, I love the cozy mystery section. I'm an artist and illustrator, and I love the artwork on the covers!

I loved this so much! The library was one of my first triggers, my family would take us to the library once a week and I used to sit in the lounge area and soak up the sounds of people flipping pages and looking through their materials and the resulting tingles I would get. I sure miss our library is been closed here since March 2020 we can only do curbside pickup.😞

I didn’t end up choosing that book. But it sure looked interesting Amy. I chose three books at the end of my video. I lean towards psychology. Not so much murder mystery. So I ended up with the book about OCD. I wanted to find out how a person becomes that way. I got that one from the teen section.

I read prologues! I don’t read many contemporary murder mysteries, but that bakery series sounds fun. I do like historical mysteries, though. Will Thomas’ Barker & Llewelyn series (set in Victorian England) is my favorite. Margaret Frazer also has a good medieval mystery series in which the main character is a cloistered nun.

Yes! I did recover completely. I am definitely blessed. But if I hadn’t recovered completely I think I would still be blessed. I love mystery/thrillers. Actually own a few that were shown. This video makes me miss working in the bookstore. I will warn though about Catch Me by Lisa Gardner it does contain mention of pedophiles and sexual assault against minors. Its still a great read just don't want anyone who watches and maybe gets interested in reading it getting surprised.

@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction Yeah, I can't say I do a lot of romantic fiction. Harry and Jeannie are going to have to have their magical first kiss with someone else. But you really should give Agatha Christie a try at some point! I've read several of her books and seen several of the movie and TV adaptations as well. Murder on the Orient Express is of course her best known story but it's not where I would start when reading her. The first novel of hers I ever read was Cards on the Table and that's probably still the one I'd recommend to get started. It's a page-turner and, like all her books, it's also relatively short so you can zoom through it.

Oh no, you are correct. I did get the Coronavirus. It was horrible. I have been well for two weeks now. So relieved and back to work again. I made this video before I got sick. Thank you for your kind thoughts.
