You have knowledge and skill with shoe repair. I enjoy this style of video. I would prefer some changes but they are just my personal preference. The only thing I would suggest is that maybe at some point you could add some CC to explain what you are doing or thinking while you work. Some comments are critical of the work done the way you did it. (Example: drying the leather out with the heat gun) but if you explain somewhere that you conditioned the leather or stopped using the heat before it got too bad, then perhaps people would understand. Your skills are already great, your knives will be sharper, your tools will improve and your muscles will grow stronger-all in time my young craftsman. I subscribed and look forward to watching you grow!

Great workmanship 👍 But I would suggest using those sharp cutting tools a bit more carefully. You could easily have a very deep wound if they slip.

Maybe scissors to cut the old leather. Old pairs can be had and sharpened by a pro. Let them know what you are going to use them for. I have a couple of large scissors and i am careful how they are used. Never use them on other material.

Здравствуйте. Я не ремонтирую обувь. Материал, из которого вырезали ножом под каблук, очень прочный. Можно сделать острый нож в форме каблука, поставить на материал и постучать.

Здравствуйте!Это видео показало,что вам нужно приобретать промышленный наждак,для таких работ,что вы сейчас в этом случае проводили.Ваш наждак(самодельный),слабоват...далее.Я бы ,если бы мне предоставилась проводить работу этой обуви,каблук изготовил из набора "чепрака',из которого вы делали латки на месте будущего каблука.Почему.Высота самого каблука не была предусмотрена производителем этой обуви.Наверх "наполненного"из чепрака я бы установил набойки из микропоры.Такой вид ремонта намного прочнее и правильнее.

Здравствуйте!Хотел бы поделиться своим мнением,мыслями. И так меня поражает ваше трудолюбие,желанием работать.Это похвально,при дальше труде у вас появится опыт,стаж.Теперь ложка дегтя в бочке меда.Как на Руси говорят,это означает испортить отношение.Согласно форме подъёма подошвы,у обуви были низкие каблуки.Далее.Этой обуви более 50 лет ,а то и больше.Кожа этих туфлей выделанна натуральными,растительными вещества.А,это значит,что долговечна и крепка.Обувь при длительной носки принесла форму стопы хозяина этой обуви.Этим самым эти туфли дороги хозяину.В них ступня хорошо себя чувствует. Теперь,что вам нельзя было делать с этими туфлями. 1.Мочить водой. 2.После мойки сушить феном. 3.Красить обувь. 4.Если ремонтировать подошву,то полностью менять "профилактику".Теперь все по порядку.Любая вещь изготовлена из натуральной кожи не "любит",чтобы ее мочили водой.Следующие.После мойки сушить феном.Кожа,после такой обработки становится грубой,ломкой.Далее.Никогда,никогда не нужно красить готовую обувь краской.Все современные красители имеют спиртовую основу,что сушат"сжигают кожу".Я просто удивляюсь,жалко мне кожу этих туфлей.Какой "варварской обработки"вы ее подвергли....Не обижайтесь на меня,эти слова быть может вас заинтересуют.
