Woah... I'm aware that this is only a roleplay, but you really nailed it. You reminded me of my past favorite teachers/professors. You were able to show their personality of being approachable and easy to socialize with, being strict yet also being gentle, being considerate/thoughtful despite the inconvenient situation the student put you in, being academically encouraging while giving great advice, and also going the extra mile of being kind and caring towards the students' health. They're the kind of teachers/professors that really influenced me while growing up and this was kind of nostalgic to me. A big warm like from me!

I wasn't the best student in school either, and even during that time, I knew that. After high school, I attended a technical school. During the first year there, I wasn't doing good, and I wanted to give up. But when the pandemic started, and video and online classes started, something sparked in me. I ended up getting honor roll all four quarters of the second year. It was because I had people in my life, not just teachers, that have told me to not give up. It made me realize that anyone can be your teacher, even outside of the classroom. What a time that was. :)

@@gamerane06yt I mean... I'd stress eat myself to death as a teacher. Maybe they go home and have half a bottle of Grand Marnier to themselves. Maybe they're trying to keep their weight under control, or they're trying to set a good example by at least trying to eat healthy "in public" for any student onlookers. I could honestly go on. It's not so much about how they all seem to have the same healthy food as that they have the restraint not to just eat garbage for lunch everyday (cafeteria, nearby fast food joints or convenience stores) or smoke two packs a day five days a week (and two cigs every other Sunday). I mean, I'm not big into cigarettes or cigars myself, medical marijuana is my thing. But if you're a teacher you can't really be high out of your gourd, even on prescriptions you need... 😅 My fave teacher had MS. She wasn't too many other people's favourite teacher, cos she was kind of a harsh marker, and was a little emotionally unstable. Considering she probably had to reeeeeally minimize her painkiller intake, I'm honestly surprised she didn't retire sooner. But I'm glad she didn't so I got to have her for a teacher (twice!). And got to be told by an educator I looked up to that I was her favourite student. =D As a kid with low self-esteem, that was everything. But, I'm kinda rambling now. My basic response is: jobs like teaching kind of necessitate a relatively healthy diet, because teaching is a profession that is *not* particularly kind to those whose health, by their own fault or otherwise, is less than ideal. Otherwise I would've been one. 🥲 So uh, make sure y'all are finding out your teachers' fave snacks so at Christmas/end of semester/end of the year, you can gift them an "emergency" stash on those days where they're so busy taking care of others, they forget to take care of themselves!
