Good shiner. He fire-melted the wax! I dig it! Loved the brush-work. Loved the towel pops. Loved his awareness of his work. Loved the sole-dressing. He EVEN sole-dressed the under-carriage! Loved the results. We need more craft-artists like this.

You can get a mirror shine if you use a hair dryer. I have never tried it personally, but I have seen guys do it and it was like glass.

This guy does alright, but he doesn't clean the shoes very well. He completely missed the seam where the edge of the shoe sole meets the leather upper portion. That's the part that is usually the dirtiest also. He shines well, but he needed to slow down and clean the shoes better.

Putting cream and wax on a shoe helps the life of the shoes so they don't dry up and it helps with water exposure. Plus they look better

I used the fire method while I was in the Marines and found that it trashed the leather not to mention the wax buildup. I would never do anything which raises the temperature of the leather or changed the properties of the wax and polish.
