I love this! One of my two trips to Chicago, my daughter and my then 10 month old granddaughter went to this Macys the day after Thanksgiving. It’s like no other, for sure!

This brings back good memories to when my mom would drive us downtown for Christmas when we were kids. We would go to this Macys, and the Walnut room; I remember the employees dressed as fairies that would walk around! We would look at all the store window Christmas decorations nearby, and you can't forget the Christkindl market.

also I highly recommend buying stainless steel pots and pans, they can be expensive, but they last so long and you can use metal utensils with them. I would stay away from teflon type nonstick pans, or even the ceramic nonstick pans; they always seem to flake off no matter how gentle you are with them. Stainless steel is a little tricky to get the hang of because they get very hot but you can look up tricks like the water drop test to see when the pan is ready, they naturally can be nonstick. That caraway set looked interesting, I don't know what that is made of. Coming from someone who likes to cook a lot and has been through cheap pan sets that never last me, but I tried to save money haha.
