As a graphic designer specializing in package design, I really appreciate when people notice such things! Hi Rebecca! I'm in the USA and shop at a grocery store that doesn't supply small plastic bags, so I buy (in bulk) brown paper lunch bags to use instead! They are cheap and work very well, and when I have produce that isn't wet, such as tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, or potatoes, I can reuse the bags! I keep a bunch of them in the trunk of my car for those impromptu grocery stops ha! Hope you are feeling better each day that passes :)

The best videos are the food shopping for me, can’t keep my eyes open! Hope your knee heals quickly, I had a hip replacement 6 yrs ago, was very painful but not as bad as a knee replacement I believe! Take care and take it easy ❤

Yes the diagnosis is a fact and I have always been very healthy so it surprised me. As to fighting I can only say I eat a healthy diet and try to keep as active as possible. Hope your knee is not too painful and that you get well very soon x

Good morning Rebecca, I didn't hear your question about the produce bags the first time, was already sleeping 😅 In my part of Germany most of the supermarkets provide those plastic bags, but you can also choose to bring your own mesh bag or take the produce without a bag. When you are weighing the produce yourself, first thing is choosing the type of bag. Some stores provide biodegradable bags, some have paper bags. When you buy your produce at the farmers market or a store that only sells fruit and veggies, it's always paper bags or you bring your own reusable bags. Since you wash the produce at home anyways, I mostly don't use any bag and just put everything in my "Jutebeutel" at checkout. Greetings from the Ruhrgebiet 🤗

Hi Rebecca! LOVE LOVE LOVE all of your videos. You have helped with my anxiety more than I can say. I am so grateful. Here in North Carolina we have the plastic bags for produce and paper ones as well. We also use reusable produce bags. The cashier just takes the weight of the bag off at the time of purchase. Those tortilla chips Xochitl are pronounced (so-cheel). I had to learn that for the grocery store I work at lol. Thank you for all you do. i live in colorado and this year they passed a 10 cent bag fee, next year stores will not have plastic bags at all, i use mesh produce bags, they're very light and now i see my farmers market using biodegradable bags now

The Kroger stores here in Princeton New Jersey area are only tiny convenient stores.

We live in Italy now and we use bags but they're compostable bags. Almost all the shopping bags and food bags are compostable. Also, we have to weigh and price label our produce before buying. The cashiers gets annoyed if you don't because they don't do that at the register.

In the UK supermarkets provide brown paper bags for fruit and veg, or you can buy a reusable fabric drawstring bag to put fresh stuff in. You only buy it once, but you have to remember to take it with you every shopping trip!!😂 Much love to you from England. X

Hi, Rebecca, how are you? It's me again😅 My husband had a total knee replacement surgery 3 day ago. Since I like this video, I thought of you. How is your knee now? I think doing well, because you posted snow walk video etc... and now I totally understand you said "life easier". My husband is in pain, and needs a lot of assistance. He likes fruits in general, and just like you, he likes grapes and mandarins better, he willingly snacks on them. So I have to get some more. Then, I will enjoy the crinkle sound of mandarin package!

Make sure your husband gets straight into physical therapy! So important. I didn't go soon enough and I paid for it. But I do pretty well. I will never be as whole as I was once but it's still way better than the constant pain of bad knees.

In the stores here in the uk we have to pay a tax on plastic bags here its 30p to 50p for the one time use thin ones and if you want to use a reuable one it is £1 normally if you dont want a bag they put out the boxes the produce come in so you take one of those and pack your shopping into that to put in your car or bring your own bags/boxes baiscally what ever you want to use to get it back home Fresh produce you can still get free bags like you did except they also have scales to weigh them and print a label to stick to the bag too. Cool huh How in the sweet name of sugar are you walking around krogers with knee surgery at least be in a wheelchair or one of those electric scooters jimminy cricket bec. I hope you are healing well and the pain os not excruciating. What pain meds you on? Glad your daughter drove you heaven forbid you drive i know you guys have autos there but nah driving after knee surgery and meds is akin to being on drink and drugs behind the wheel to me stupid and reckless
