Since I had breast cancer and leukaemia. My husband divorced me. And I'm 53 years old and I can't work anymore. So I've had a big depression. This is one of my favorite videos of yours and I keep coming back to it. Wonderful crinkles and whispering. But also a bit of nostalgia. Those little tin mailboxes remind me of my grandma (who we called Grams). She had one and would always stuff it with your typical “old-people candy” (I don’t mean for that to sound mean. Just, you know, the classics!) like Werther’s, butterscotch disks, the strawberry hard candies, etc. and she’d put the little flag up when it was full and my brother and I would always eagerly run and take a piece. Now my mom has the mailbox and fills it up just like Grams did.

This video is so good!! Your voice and the noises are so soothing! I love watching people shop, I find it gives me tingles, but I try not to be too obvious or they'll think I'm odd. How is your camera set up so both hands are free? I enjoy your magazine flipping videos too. I've had ASMR since I was a kid and tried to explain it to people but gave up and thought it was just something I was imagining. When I finally found out through social media that there was a huge community I was so happy I wasn't alone. I've watched many ASMR videos since, but yours is the first I've commented on. Thank you for sharing and making these videos! You bring much relaxation and good energy. :D

Clara! That is such a fine compliment. I understand how you feel about ASMR. Sometimes I would get stuck in a trance in the grocery aisle because some worker was stocking shelves. Those chip bags! Rebecca, do you use a phone to a camera for your asmr? I was considering making some asmr videos and was wondering what’s commonly used and what you use for your videos. And do you use a mic?

Hello Alana. 🙋🏻‍♀️ I don't know what is most common with other artists. But I use my iPhone 12. I use an exterior mic that plugs into the iPhone usb port. Works for me. Good luck.

I don't think it's strange. I think it's because of nostalgia. It was more fun being the child watching mom or another adult doing the shopping while we just strolled along.
