I live about 15-20 minutes from the beach, give or take (depending on the route you choose) and it’s become such an important part of considering places I may call home in the future. As much as I despise the overbearing heat and humidity of the place where I live currently, I could never move somewhere that’s far from the ocean. Even as more of a homebody than anything I could never leave it behind and I have no idea as to why. I know I have options and I’m looking into them but the ocean is a must.
