ASMR - Smoothing Crumpled Paper (+ For Broken Headphones)

Hey guys, Donna here. Since one of my older "broken headphones" video is so well received, I decided to do another one, but also include the regular sound for people whose headphone work fine! :) As some of you might've read on my Twitter, life is not treating me well at the moment. Unfortunately I lost my job recently and I also might lose my apartment soon. I've decided to enable ads on this channel to help me out a bit, however since this is an ASMR channel, I disabled loud ads before, during and at the end of every video so that you guys don't have to worry about those. Some of you asked me to set up a Patreon for support. I'm not to fond of Patreon since I'm not uploading on a regular basis anymore and "charging" people monthly feels wrong to me. But I did decide to set up a Ko-Fi page for people who would like to send me a buck or two. Every donation is very much appreciated. No content of mine will ever be hidden behind a paywall! I’ll never understand people that are upset by ads. Do all those people work for free?

@@NoChance345 I think a lot of people don't see KZbin as a job. It isn't for me either, but a lot of other people are able to make a living off of it an that's perfectly fine. The problem with ads on ASMR videos is the volume. People fall asleep to these videos for example and suddenly a loud ad pops up and scares them. I can definitely see why people don't like that.

@@DonnaASMR I understand if ads are playing all throughout a video some people would get upset. I was talking about an ad playing at the beginning and didn’t even think about the mid-roll ads. Either way you seem to put a decent amount of effort into your videos and should be able to be compensated if you choose to.

A few years ago a news article talked about this cool "new thing" called ASMR and you were one of the channels referenced there. Watched a few videos because I really wanted to find out what those "tingles" would feel like. Started binging your channel and slowly but steadily expand to other asmrtists as well. I was really sad when you left back then but it was understandable. I am just incredibly happy to have such a talented asmrtist (and the one that got me into asmr) back.
