I found two big bags of assorted jewelry at Goodwill today! I haven't really looked at any of it yet. Let's explore the treasures inside!

Sounds like a nickel allergy - coat the offending earrings in clear nail varnish and you shouldn’t have a problem

I wouldn't put nail polish into contact with the skin of someone who's already had an adverse reaction--titanium is a hypoallergenic metal used to make jewellery that wont irritate, its easy to find and worth paying a tiny amount more.

Just some ideas here...but if you have a really nice earring that has beads or other charms attached to them..but you only have one of the pair..and can't find the other one...make it into a charm for a short necklace or long necklace..that is what I do..or I save it for when I can use it for something that I can use it for at a later time!! I have found nice earrings and or other jewelry (usually silver but some gold too) and I just make them into what I would like to wear...I have never taken a jewelry class...and I just kind of figure out how to put beads or earrings or necklaces together,,(not crimping beads and wire.yet though..I will probably take some Jewelry class or something on that)! I have learned how to keep some charms on bracelets better via a local artist here where I live who helped me!!

I know it's probably too late to change your mind on earrings, but my mom and I both have an allergy to silver and aren't able to wear silver earrings(or any other piercing that's silver), so we both have to wear gold. Just some thought for the problems you've had.
