This really could be a learning experience for you. I’m a very sociable person and love meeting new people. But I know it can be difficult to create conversations with barbers. My dad always says that the barbershop is where everyone comes by to chat, talk about someone, or just hanging out. I used to have this one friend who would come to the barbershop every Saturday and Sunday and hang for hours talking about nonsense and it still was funny. This video really could be a great way to improve on social skills. Lol this reply is random but I have a friend who has unbearable trouble talking to people. You’re not alone

@@croatiancowboy funny enough, i am german as well and i visited texas in june, to see my best friend. she lives in waco because of college. we went to the dr pepper museum and guess what?? there were these two women who spoke german in a dialect i had never heard before. turns out they were texas germans. and the way they speak my native language really reminds me of the classic texas accent, too.

This is EXACTLY like what happens when I get my hair done. Like literally the last time I got my hair done there was this sweet old lady that they called Miss Mary which is why I felt so shocked when you said that. the stylist that was doing my hair had a country accent (Which is normal from where I'm from seeing as I have one myself) and the hair stylist are always talking to each other, and you captured the experience exactly.

I'm more familiar w the slow georgia drawl than the texas southern accent, but that's one thing in common. they're a real workout to make, too when they start to thicken and you gotta stir them to keep them from sticking/burning to the bottom of the pan!

So maybe TMI, but my old hair stylist passed away suddenly a couple of years ago. It was so sad. She did my hair along with my mom and sister's for about 10 years, and even did my hair for my wedding. She had the same energy as this character of taking care of everyone and just being such a bubbly person with everyone who walked in. I remember she once did her priest's hair while my color was setting, and she never charged him. She became my friend, and I miss her a lot. But thanks for bringing her energy Amy!
