tbh my ONE experience in a hospital ended up shaking me away from these videos lol. i'm always second guessing what they're doing and going "if i were really in this situation i'd want this to be over with so i can go back to sleep" this comment doesn't mean much, more just marveling over the wide array of human experiences. though, to be fair, I'm not a southerner. maybe that's the catch ;P

Maybe it’s because what I get done most often at the hospital are MRI’s, blood tests, and getting an infusion of my medication. Cranial exams seem far more relaxing than being in a loud machine full of banging sounds for an hour

@@joliecravy5513 In my part of the south it’s used more as a way to show sympathy, like “bless your heart [I’m so sorry you had to go through that]”. It’s extremely common to say it to a sick person. That and “[god] love your heart”. It’s rare to hear someone say it as a backhanded insult (though I often do 🙂).

So many people try to exaggerate it. Your "less is more" approach and warm demeanor without being overbearing in the slightest is something even Oscar winning performers can't capture about people from the South.
