@tiramisu9358 How is childcare like in India? In Australia it is a very important and crucial part of early childhood learning and most parents strive to be able to send their children to childcare, Childcare here is almost like a kindergarten program where they have age appropriate activities and outings through the day. Childcare in Melbourne also costs 200$ aud per kid each day. My kids made so many friends at childcare, brought home many crafts and handiworks and have had firemen/policemen visit childcare with their trucks and engines! it's super fun for them as they loveee firetrucks. My twins will also start kindergarten this year and being able to attend childcare for a few hours a day helps them transition easier to kindergarten later on as well. Kindergarten starts around 3 years old in Australia btw. As how childcare helps the mother, myself, I'm able to get the house clean, prepare yummy homemade meals for the family, errands, groceries, time for myself to get a hair cut etc so its a win-win to be honest. It's sad that in India, mothers get judged so harshly, my heart goes out to you ❤

It’s totally normal in India in my society to drop your kids at school, daycare or your extended family’s home (grand parents/aunts/uncles etc..) and to come home and cook and eat specially if it’s part of your income. Don’t worry about ppl judging you. You do what’s best for your kids and rock on!
