I don't know how you do it, SIX Angel Tree kids, your own family to sort out and now this?! Incredible. I've been the victim of theft twice in the last 2 months and it's affected my mental health quite badly but these videos have really restored a lot of my faith in humanity and Christmas spirit. The ripple effect of your generosity and kindness is far-reaching. Thank you for all that you do and remember to look after yourself too! Merry Christmas :)

I’ll be honest. I do look up to Mary in different ways. She works full time, does full time KZbin, provides for her kids and takes care of everything as a single parent. THEN also has time to buy and give gifts to different charities. My parents are both quite well off but never would do anything like this, I really do admire her selflessness.

Mary, as a long-term care nurse, this touches me so much! We do angel trees for our residents where I work and anytime I hear of someone doing something sweet for these folks just warms my heart. So many of them have no families or families who don't visit. It's sad and these little gifts are sometimes the only thing they'll receive. They will love your stocking stuffers, believe me!!! God bless you. And thank you!!!

I'm a retired RN and my last 3 years I was a home health nurse. You are so right. A lot of my visits were to people who I was the only person they saw that month. It made my job so rewarding to be able to not only take care of their nursing needs, but to just sit and visit with them. I so miss them all.

Mary, with all the videos you make for us, the many donations you shop for/wrap/itemize on lists/drop off, your exercise, lawn maintenance, daily chores, flawless manicures, raising children, meal planning and preparation, writing a novel, working... I honestly have to wonder: WHEN do you SLEEP?! You are such an inspiration, but also I'm a little frightened when I think of what your schedule must look like. You are absolutely my hero. I strive to be even half as productive as you, and to have even half of my shit half as together as you.

Thank you so much Mary. Believe me they will truly appreciate your thoughtfulness and kindness. Before the pandemic, I was blessed to participate with a church group that gathered similar items and delivered them. Many of the residents didn't have friends or family in town or living anymore and they were so happy to have visitors and receive gifts. Merry Christmas to you and your loved one.

Mary you did so much, such a kind heart. I did something similar here and the staff that I spoke with suggested I buy some items sugar free as they had some diabetic patients and the doctors did not want these patients to violate the menu restrictions. I also brought circle a word books and a special color pen for men and a different color for women. And a comb for the men in one color and a comb for the ladies in another color. My brother has Parkinson's and I appreciate it when you speak of your Grandfather, it gives a more personal side to this terrible illness, that the web sites does not give. Thank you for sharing, blessings for the boys, your Dad and Step Mom, and Mom, and Brother and his wife, and for you dear Mary.

Thanks for the inspiration, Mary. I had never heard of "Angel Tree" before your vids (how sad is that?), and now I've adopted 5 different tween recipients for the program this holiday. The last few years have been some of the absolute worst I've personally experienced, but things are very slowly returning to my new normal. I thought to celebrate my gratitude I would try and help brighten others' Christmases. Thank you for sharing your info and being such a positive inspiration to your followers!!

Oh my gosh Mary, I can’t tell you how comforting it was to hear you mention your grandad who had Parkinson’s. My dad has Parkinson’s and it has progressed rapidly in the last few months. He has moved to a home and it has been a pretty difficult transition. I’m always touched by your nostalgia and honesty but this brief mention was especially moving and familiar for me. Happy Holidays, Mary 💕 🎄

I want to visit the southern US states. I've only been to the US twice and the only places I saw were California, New York and Boston. There's some really incredible stuff in all those places but tbh with you the people are kind of mean and cynical. But Southerners just seem so much nicer. Gentle with lovely manners and so generous and hospitable. I bet I could make friends with people there. And you guys have lots of incredible stuff to see there too.

God that was depressing af. It’s kind of you but gosh how much does life suck when you’re so old that ppl give you basic toiletries for Christmas.
@SouthernASMRSounds2 жыл бұрын
You'd think that it sucks, but I can tell you that from my experience, the older you get, the more you appreciate simple things. Shoot, if you were to ask me what I'd like for Christmas, I'd probably say lotion and other useful stuff!
@NNNikNak232 жыл бұрын
See I think you’re missing what truly sucks… the real problem here is that unfortunately elderly residents of nursing homes often don’t have loved ones who visit or bring gifts. As someone who’s worked in nursing care facilities, I can tell you how thankful these residents will be to know someone cared enough about them to fill stockings with items they may lack and need

I find a lot of older people don’t want much for presents and usually think of things practical that they can use.
@alaynalewis17162 жыл бұрын
The older one gets I think the less materialistic they become. At least that’s the way it’s been with all those more elderly in my life. They have realized what really holds value… and sometimes that is just a sense a gratitude and contentment with the little things.
