I personally don't think there is any therapeutic or practical effect. However, sometimes people do things that appeal to them regardless of effect so have at it. All I know is that watching Martin travel the globe for shaves, massages and spa stuff is really relaxing.

I was always told that its actually worst to use ear candle for cleaning your ears, weather that's true or not I honestly don't know but it is something that I've heard a few times here in NA

The cone that they put in your ear is coated with bee's wax or similar which melts down and looks like earwax. Ta da!

It doesn't. There is liquids you can put in your ear to clear it up to, think peroxide. Works wonders.

I honestly think these "made for the job" cnadles are super safe. So like you said it's just kind of an interesting and funny experience 😀 Didn't feel much heat though. However you hear some very light sounds from the flame/paper burning (?)

From what I read, they're not effective as ear cleaning but it sure does make you relax & feels good, if it's done by the right person (like this barber). If you feels good after it, then it's worth the money & time.

That candle could actually be worse for wax. There's a British doctor who clears wax out of ears when nothing else will work. And he explained that when you put an ear wax softener in your ear you should ignore the instructions to lay on your side. That's because the softener melts the wax and gravity pulls it down further into the ear where it hardens again and gets even more stuck, so you should stay upright after applying the softener. So the candle would be doing the same if it really could melt the ear wax.

You should try to burn just a candle without sticking it in the ear. I believe the result will be the same. On another way, the earflushing, that’s thing is working for 100%. You will hear people talk on other building.

There is no "hot earwax" in your ear that could cause damage. The heated air generates negative pressure, so, as your earwax gets warmer and less viscous, it gets sucked out. After that it cools down and solidifies again, this time in the ear candle.

Ear candling doesn't work. Go to the GP office and have them take a look at your ears before and after a candling. Same amount of wax. The residu in the candle is just the candle wax, but not ear wax. The latter does not actually look all strew about, like that.

Before you light the candle, its empty but after burnig it the residu in the candle is just the candle wax, but not ear wax. So its a scam product

Ear candling does not work; it's a con and can also be dangerous. The debris that she showed you is from the burnt candle and is not your earwax.
