You are so right about how we take sound for granted. One way to reinforce this is to watch some of the videos about people , especially children, who have received cochlear implants and their reactions to being able to hear - many for the 1st time:)

One of my all time favorite ASMR videos. I keep on coming back to this one. The sounds you achieve with your collection of objects is incredible - especially the wooden blocks and the lens cover. Those at 23.37 are a Masterpiece of cadence, of sound rhythm and complexity of alternating sequences. Those movements are just amasing inner ear joy!!!!the fablef ""eargasm""! :) The massaging aspect of the sound is supreme for me at that point in the vid!!!
