I remember when I first saw this video a couple years ago, it overwhelmed me with emotions of aching and longing for something like this. The idea of being able to travel with a dear friend. To exist with someone so peacefully and enjoy the simplest and purest things. It brings me to tears again just thinking about this. I have depression and sometimes that makes something like this feel out of reach but I still have hope that I can experience this peace and joy.

Oh, gosh, you have got such amazing skill at distilling an entire experience - visual, auditory, emotional - down for these videos. The cinematography is lovely, and the mind fills in the sensory gaps. I can almost feel the cold coming off the water and smell the clean air and forest duff. Maybe that's down to the narration? The informal way you write it, the pace and softness of your delivery, does such a seamless job of creating that sense of warmth and trust and gladness that makes ASMR work. Seriously, you elevate the genre. This is a beautiful piece. I hope your trip was as amazing as you made it seem for us.

I can't describe how beautiful this is or how it makes me feel, so I'll just scroll down your comment section and smile at your well deserved adoration.

Your channel is like an exhibition in the KZbin art gallery. And while your exhibition doesn't draw everyone's eye, anyone who knows the art ought to recognize the beauty and excellence portrayed in your art. Because your videos are truly artistic. Even your narration in this video is poetic in a simplistic way. And that's awesome. Please keep it up. Your videos inspire me such that they not only put me to sleep every night, but they keep me waking up in the morning ❤️

I’ve seen this video a thousand times , and no matter how many time pass by and how many other ASMR videos I watch, I ALWAYS come back to this one. It’s absolutely perfect.

This is amazing, it looks like it's right out of a fantasy book. It must've taken you a lot of work, because there's a lot of attention paid to little details, like the music, the sounds, the shots... everything is perfectly put together. It was so relaxing and I'm sure I'll sleep like a baby now. Thanks, Erin ❤️ Btw, glad you had a good time there and so happy that you're back!

This is consistently my favorite video. Just so relaxing and peaceful. I made a Spotify playlist and named it goodnight moon with all these songs and a few more that fit the mood and it's so nice

Life isn’t like this. This feeling you create is reminiscent of an angsty coming of age movie where two kids fall in love at a summer camp but once summer is over they have to separate. It feels familiar to everyone because we’ve all seen that movie and pined to be those characters. It’s like you’re living the real life garden state. You’re amazing

matthew carlson life can be anything you want it to be! Ever feel like you were in a dream when you were a little kid? Growing older you're exposed to more and your perspectives change. They will continue to. But never doubt you can have some fairy tale. It's all what you choose to see and believe. Even in toxic groups of people, one special person can spark happiness and change others around them. We all want to be happy. But chasing the desire makes it unattainable. Live in the moment frequently and soak in all that is around you. Good night!

I hope my comment doesn’t come across as negative because it’s definitely not meant that way. I’m expressing awe in her ability to create such a distinct and relatable emotion all on her own when movies try (and mostly fail) to capture the same feelings with loads of funding. And maybe my first observation is a bit pessimistic. Maybe this feeling she so effortlessly instills in her videos is truly the filter through which she sees life. I’m not one for art, but this, and all of her videos, are truly an art form done to a masterful level. And jc I appreciate your optimistic view on life. We could all use more of that
@Opi3956 жыл бұрын
matthew carlson oh no don't worry I didn't see it as negative at all. I just don't want people to ever stop believing that their life can be amazing and a fairy tale. Life is amazing and you only experience it once!

Erin produces these travelogue videos with a certain kind of magic that subliminally encourages me to, with each return, foster nostalgia for experiences that I never had. Her cinematography makes these memories so accessible that I can cherish them as if they were my own.🥰
