Why deal with rudeness when we can time travel back to the 80s and have Connie and/or Maria do our makeup while offering relentless praise, affirmation, and validation for every aspect of our existence?! Okay, maybe Connie's sister Jessica was a little prickly at first, but ultimately, she just had a bit of sibling rivalry and wanted a friend! With that said, despite the attitude, this is of course yet another fantastic bit of character work, Ella, and very effective ASMR, to boot! The clicking in the beginning was absolutely fascinating to me...it was different from the later typing, and I'd love to know what it was since it was intriguingly off-camera!
