I chose group 3. I was broken up with on friday, after a 10-11 month relationship. I spent 4 days this week sobbing every day and letting anxiety and paranoia take over me. Even now, listening to the reading, I still have those fears and I struggle to believe in myself. The cards that I couldn’t look away from was deck 1, and it’s insane how much it resonated with my current situation. My biggest dilemma right now is that I didn’t get accepted to a nursing school I applied to (I received the letter yesterday). Before I received the letter, I was thinking to myself: “If I don’t get in, I’m taking this as a sign to go elsewhere/ out of state.” I felt the (multiple) rejections is leading me in another direction, since I’ve been trying to apply to schools only in California. I’ve always felt torn between the 2 paths (for years), staying in California or sacrificing a few years to leave and reach my goal out of state. Part of me feels held back b/c of stability and how all of my family is in California. I’m afraid to leave! I’ll be afraid to miss out on family events, spending time with people I love, missing my dog (who is still young and turning 2 this year) ! But part of me also feels it’s limiting me, but your tarot reading showed me… the limitations are all in my head. Maybe if the outside factors didn’t influence my decision, I wouldn’t be so hesitant… and I could reach my goals sooner (then come home)

I recently got out of a 17 months relationship with someone I thought would be my soulmate because we were best friends and partners and our bond, for me was unreplaceable. The person has a lot of wounds in their past that they refused to heal and so did I. We ended up hurting each other nearing the end of our relationship. I chose the second reading and it could not have been more on point. I am healing from trauma, about to experience huge moves in my life, trying to stay aware and embrace it all without fear but the other night I had a two hour panic attack, many more hours after to process. I was aware that it would pass but I had to ride out the emotions regardless, and to explicitly frame that as a breakthrough is powerful. I had an hour long conversation last night about how I don't trust myself, I literally journaled that a full page earlier today. When the trust card came up, my jaw dropped. I am always looking to expand myself, in my exact wording actually, but because I struggle with asserting myself I still have to learn trust to rebel and master my own destiny. The Nothingness Card reminds me of something I read in John O' Donohue's book on Beauty. In the part where he speaks about color, he notes "a rose is red because it rejects red, and absorbs all other colors." He takes it further to say black is the womb of all color/possibility, and notes our books are printed with black ink. Sometimes, you need to delve deep to find the richness beneath it all.

Earlier today I was meditating and I saw a fierce Lion, I was then really pulled to watch a card reading and told myself if you had one I'd watch it. You did, I picked group 2. I chose group two, and wow…I felt like this reading was just for me. 🥺 we’re entering Taurus season, and it’s my 30th birthday in a week. I used to be scared of turning 30, but now it feels hopeful and powerful. I’ve been working hard on myself, working through traumas and trying to learn to trust those I should trust.
