As an italian let me say you did great! Don't listen to people who are complaining, it's easy to criticize but I would like to see them speaking another language! Plus some Italian words are quite hard to pronounce and you did an excellent job at it!

For about 5 years, my father was stationed in Italy. My brother was schooled there for his early childhood, so he went to school in a Pre-EU Italian school, meaning he didn't learn English, he learned Italian only! To make it worse, the school was Catholic, so it was run by nun. Indian nuns. Raised in England. My Hispanic American brother spoke Italian, which he learned from Indian nuns with British Accents. My father called us his confused little Mexicans. You reminded me of that memory

In italian we don't pronounce words like spanish😉...because you don't say "buena" like in spanish but "buona" with the "uo" sound..ok?😊

I am Italian, thanks for the video...there's nothing to apologize about, nobody is perfect here! In case it helps: 'ciao', 'sera', 'notte', 'per favore', 'prego', 'scusi', 'come sta', 'sto bene', 'così così', 'sì / no' , 'mi chiamo', 'parla italiano', 'non parlo italiano' were all perfect !!! The others: 'buongiorno' sounded as if written 'bongionno'', 'buona' as if 'buena', 'arrivederci' as if 'arrivedecci', 'grazie mille' as if 'grazi milli' , 'come si chiama' as if 'como si chiama' and 'mi dispiace' as if 'mi dispiasi' (hope it helps!). As it's easier for us to learn Spanish or French rather than English (I'm terrible at writing and speaking in English...) I guess it goes both ways, so I'd say it went wonderfully!! I have been following your videos for a while and what better time than now to subscribe? ;)

Ciao Lucy, I'm Italian, and I have to tell your pronunciation isn't bad, as much as I really enjoyed that video. I can speak English and a lil' bit of French and Spanish, but I have to admit: Italian has one of the hardest grammars in the world. Our verbs are so hard even Italians can misunderstand in a blink. Our pronunciation can be easy or hard, depending where you come from. As for the UK, we have many slangs: Northern slangs use to be quicker and the accents are stronger. Florence's the C turns into an H. Roman (mine) is quite rough. Southern slangs are completelly different and unique between each others. Hope you keep learning more and more about my beautiful language. Ottimo lavoro Lucy! (Nice job!) 🇮🇹❤🇬🇧

To be honest with you, the fist time I watched one of your videos I did it just because of your extremely beautiful face. I didn't even know about this ASMR thing. But now, I use the English and Spanish teaching roleplay and the Psychologist one to fall asleep at nights. Thank you for another great video Lucy. It's always exciting to see what new ideas you use in videos. This was really fun, educational and relaxing to listen to at night. My only suggestion is that if you want to enunciate specific words or syllables in Italian you need to use your hands more.

Ponsonby Britt actually she doesn't! We italians have a very specific hand gestures language: each gesture means something, you don't just use them in any context. Hope it helps :)
