I love your videos so much, I get so excited when you upload! I’ve been super stressed planning my sister’s baby shower (it’s finally tomorrow so I can relax after!) so this is a welcome reprieve ❤ I have all of the old ACOTAR covers that they released up to ACOFAS with Feyre on the cover and don’t have ACOSF because it doesn’t match. Now I’m thinking maybe I should just go ahead and get the box set of the new editions 😂 I think I mentioned before I’ve only read ACOTAR so far (I know know 😭😭) and I LOVED it so knowing that a lot of people prefer the rest makes me so excited to really dive into the world. I’m going to read ACOTAR, then TOG and the move on the Crescent City I think. I think a lot of people felt the same way you do about Iron Flame (also I will never judge you for buying special editions of books you already own because happiness is more important than paying rent anyway in my opinion and who even needs food!? Perhaps don’t take my advice 😂) I didn’t watch the spoiler section because I haven’t even read Fourth Wing yet but I am so excited to! I’m glad you got to enjoy some great re-reads this month! ❤ Edit: My favourite book from November was Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano. It’s a historical/literary fiction book about an Italian/American family and the trials they face basically and I found it super impactful and relatable. It was sadly my only five star of the month!

you are always so supportive ilysm 🥲🥲 so sorry you’ve been stressed!!! i’m sure your sister really appreciates you and all your effort!! omgggg it’s so cool you have the old covers! it’s funny cuz when i first started reading i was like ew those are ugly but now i want them 😂😂 same with the TOG original cover lmaooo. but take your time reading all of the SJM universe!!! i always rush the first read cuz i’m so excited and then end up regretting it cuz i miss the characters so much 😫 hahahahah who needs to pay rent??? not me 🙃🤣 i’ve seen Hello Beautiful all over the place!!! i’m glad you loved it 🤎

@@raeasmr17 awww I love you too! ❤️❤️ the baby shower went great and my sister was so happy so it was worth it! 🥹🥹 I have all of the old TOG covers as well! The new UK TOG covers are UGLY in my opinion, I love the US ones though 😍 I have to take my time with fantasy books anyway because it takes me time to process the world building and the characters or magic systems. I read multiple books at once which helps me slow down as well ❤️

I’m concerned, can anyone help me? I’ve only ever read one book in my life. It was a military one called sniper one, and what I remember about reading it was that I couldn’t remember anything I read? Like I was just reading the words but it wasn’t sinking in. Today, I just finished reading the 4th book of the bible “numbers” and a lot of the stuff isn’t sinking in again 😞 I tried chalking it up to the fact that it’s pretty complex to me, with many words I can’t pronounce… the only thing is, I suffer with adhd and I’m wondering if that’s stopping me from being able to happily read books like everyone else. I looked it up and it does say stuff like adhd people can’t memorise books that good. Can someone put my mind at ease? Does anyone else suffer from adhd and are you able to read books properly? I don’t want this new hobby of mine to be spoilt by something I cannot help. Does anyone have any tips? I’m feeling pretty low in mood right about now 🦐

I meant to put a 😞 emoji and not the 🦐 at the end… but that cheered me up abit, and it’s as shrimple as that.

Give audiobooks a try, all the story without the pesky reading 😊 Good luck!!

@@gahangore111it’s sad because I always wanted to be a book person, who could read physical books 😞 I’ll give them a try

try reading books that entertain your fantasy more! like for me, when i hit a slump and i realize it’s harder for me to comprehend the book content i’m reading, that’s usually a sign that my brain doesn’t think the content is “fun” enough. my solution is to turn to the fantasy genre. books in the vein of the hobbit, regarding made up creatures in silly stories about made up places - FUN books, reignites my love of reading. it also gets my mind back to being eager to understand and track with the books i read. find a genre that your brain thinks is FUN. it might not be the self help books you want to finish so bad, or books that you think you should finish (the bible is one of those for me) but if what you’re reading is fun and exciting, your brain is more likely to retain what you’re reading. this is a novel in and of itself but it’s something i’ve struggled with myself and have a first person. perspective on how it felt. once you get your brain in the mood to read, reading anything will be easier

let me also add…reading anything is still participating in the hobby of reading. it doesn’t have to be novels all the time. sometimes my attention span is too short for long stories and i read easy-to-understand poetry. simple stuff. maybe this is more for me, but please don’t shame yourself for “spoiling” a hobby you are excited about just because you haven’t found your niche in it yet. just keep reading sh!t until something clicks with your brain and go from there.
