Oh! German is a nice surprise. Hope you get to do more in your native language. EDIT: this format could be a great way to reintroduce Swedish content, since you've said that it gets less engagement. Do an English video where you read a book in your tongue and translate the passages. It would work really well, IMO
@LolaASMR6 ай бұрын
I second this! I love the sounds of the Swedish language, but I can’t focus for very long if I don’t know what’s being said. Swedish and English translations would be lovely to hear while still managing to hold my slippery attention. 😅

This was an unusual video. Your voice is soft and whispered and relaxing. Very soothing. However, even though the video is quite nice I was not as engaged. Still it wasn't bad. Your voice still sounds very relaxing it's just whispering in storage tones sometimes kept me awake rather than make me sleep. It was different but still quite nice. Not sure if I'd like this format always. Thank you so much for sharing.

Early Blizzard was so good, sad really to watch their fall over more than a decade now. Not everything is terrible but they really just got too bloated and pushed away too many great designers to keep the train going. Company collapsed under it's own weight of success. I'm excited for what Mike Morheim is working on over at Dream Haven, I think Ashes of Creation will be the next great MMO but who knows if the world will ever have the same iconic foundation that Warcraft provided.

I've been with Blizzard since 1990. The original owners and developers are all gone. Blizzard North was dissolved ages before WoW was even released. I got into PC gaming because of Blizzard back in the early 90s. The original Warcraft was unique and interesting, but imho Warcraft II Tides of Darkness was just... Nothing ever came even close. It and Starcraft were just so phenomenal that they propelled Blizzard to the top of the food-chain.Then with the release of Diablo, it only cemented that position. To have an RPG deal with religion in the way it did was just horrifying and oh so intriguing. From the groundbreaking cinematic to the masterfully crafted gameplay mechanics and music. No one could touch Blizzard. I'm not saying what Westwood did with C&C wasn't incredible, it was, but something about Blizzard just stood out in an undeniable way. I was a diehard fan, loved them to death. Diablo 2, even with all it's issues with hackers making up the majority, and full of people with such incredibly vile discourse that would send the regular online gamer today into a snowflake spiral. It all just felt alive in it's own unique way. The norm of battlenet was cutthroat, was ruthless. As someone who's been a part of that world and to see how things are now.. I have no words. It's as if the soul of the online community has been destroyed, entirely. That aside, DIablo 2 will forever be remembered as one of the greatest of the greats. Warcraft 3 managed to release with a limp. It didn't live up to it's predecessors, but it managed to be rather enjoyable in it's own unique way. Then World of Warcraft was released. I can't explain to you the betrayal I and everyone else I knew felt. To take the most beloved RTS franchise and turn it into, into that abomination. To see all that history turned into a cashgrab for people who didn't know what Blizzard was let alone what an RTS even is. It was devastating. I turned my back on the company and everything they did since has been truly a disservice to all of us who were there back when things were good. I'm not entirely sure how Starcraft 2 released in the state it was. It somehow managed to survive the transformation, but God forbid they ever make a Starcraft 3.. Now Blizzard is nothing but a snowflake safespace for the horde of LGBTQ+ and botting twitch streamers to call their own. If only OW would just die, Microsoft would dissolve the company entirely and let this rotted corpse rest once and for all.

I think nordic languages and german are very close, but not the modern german, but the old german. Listening to you reading this, it sounds a lot like you are reading an old fairy tale or something, the way you pronounce words is very "old" which sounds really cool. On one hand also you manage to pronounce certain words perfectly while on the other hand you absolutely butcher certain text passages 😅 A nice video nonetheless 😇
@ErudwenASMR6 ай бұрын
Shorter words feels easy to guess how they're supposed to sound but whenever it turns into 6-7 letters or more its just a scramble of letters in my head 😅 It was quite a fun video to make anyways, but imagine my shock when I ordered the book thinking it was in English and realizing it was in German! Im happy I could make asmr in some form at least from it 😂 Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it a lot! ☺️
