I could feel you love and patience watching this video. Everything was done so deliberately. I've had a really rough day and it's always your videos that change my thought pattern to slow down and be present. You give me a cozy, calm feeling that's like a hug at a time when I don't feel like I can talk to anyone. I really appreciate you taking the time to always make and share what some might see as a silly, simple video on the surface, but is truly a therapeutic grounding tool. This is like experiencing a finely executed composition. On the surface it seems simple, and yet there is so much going on. You have a fine instinct of just how long a section should last. When you traced the Sylvanian Families words, I just knew you wouldn't trace the words underneath, and I genuinely smiled when you didn't. That instinct of knowing when to tap, when to trace, and when to move to a new object is what makes these videos so perfect. Oh, and this worked just as well for me with or without earbuds 🙇‍♂️ Perfect 🙏🙏

Sorry I didn't get to see the video or comment last night Laura, got home way later than expected. 2:13 Always love that pinch tracing you do. 3:23 Those tingly tapping sounds as you slowly traced the word chocolate. 👌🏼 5:20 The card scratching with the nails upclose gave me some crazy tingles! 🤤 8:00 Lovely book, but Emma Bridgewater is clearly a hoarder and may need to seek some professional advice for that immediately! 🤣 12:15 That makeup bag sounds so good to scratch on. 13:52 Some bonus build-up scratching at the end too! Nice! Always nice to chill to one of your videos. 👌🏼 every time! 💜

I have no fully-formed happy memories before the age of 12, but I do have a vague memory of someone reading Charlotte's Web to me. When I saw that book in this video, it choked me up. As you know, I would typically write a lot more about what I enjoyed in the video.
