I remember reading library books over the summer as a boy where every chapter ended on a cliffhanger and I couldn’t wait to read the next chapter. Sometimes I’d finish them in a day, despite being a relatively slow reader. I think many of them were mystery stories that I’d found. Getting lost in a good book is one of the best things ever. Talking about them with others, especially if they’ve also read them, is a lot of fun too. Thanks Feena!

Only just started reading and listening to books at 32 which is probably a bit poor tbh, really enjoyed 1984 if enjoyed can be the right word for it actually. So thanks for that suggestion. Also first time listening to any asmr with headphones and it was as your channel always is … excellent ❤

P&P I think its 1816 and it's the Georgian period, and absolutely reads like something from the 20th century. Love it personally think it's Austin's best. I think Huxley was writing as therapy and the drug therapy that goes with it was starting to take shape. It's interesting that he predates the freelove culture of the 60s which makes you think the book arose from that era rather than the 1930s. I always find it hard to get started. I absolutely love 'To Kill a Mockingbird,' easily on my top ten list of best novels.
