Thanks for such a long video Leah 🥰 I’m looking forward to it Edits: Please that is so funny about the bear 😭 stuff like that is genuinely so funny to me, maybe not when it happens to me tho but the fact they were little kids makes it better lol. That dog. I have a dog and it’s very sweet, but I can’t understand how people with aggressive dogs do not see a responsibility to train them and then also protect people and the other dogs they might encounter. Like going to a dog park with an aggressive dog off leash is the same sort of vibe as letting it growl at your friend. I honestly fell in love with your channel because of your volume balance and the mic sounds of your fifine mic. I found the yeti sometimes makes the talking/whispering a bit too quiet, but I have major trust that you will always have a nice quality to your videos. I am watching your videos for you as a person and not the mic at all now, and I have been for months. So although ill miss the fifine, I understand an upgrade will help up your quality 💕😊 thanks for the effort in picking out a similar yeti and I’m looking forward to the new mic. Really like the bubble wrap on mic! Agree for the Christmas movies. Love the Christmas spirit until it’s everywhere I look lmao. The notebook 😫 I feel like I’ve seen it before as I’ve watched all your older videos at some point when I’d run out of your daily content to watch. Although I’ll be honest most of the items you crack out for videos are always aesthetically pleasing so I could easily mix it up. The list is so cute lol. I can remember you going over a planner you had for college or high school tho 🤞 it’s been fun watching you so consistently as I slowly get to build up pieces of information about you as a person. You never cease to appear as an amazing and genuine person Leah, and that’s why I think you have kept so many thousands of viewers captivated for months.

Just really wanted to respond to your dog story/experience! I have a dog who is anxious and can be reactive (sinilar I think to your friend's dog). I ALWAYS put her up when anyone comes over because it's unsafe for everyone involved. As a responsible pet owner, you have to recognize how to keep people safe and keep your dog comfortable when they have reactive tendencies. Our dog is much better now and less reactive (through training and not putting her or our friends in compromising situations) and she is able to be around people she's familiar with now.
@NinoAsmr3 жыл бұрын
Hi Leah 💞 I think you have to meet each other halfway, like when you are at her place the dog can be in another room or in the garden, because she should -and i am sure she will - respect the way you feel. Probably she is already conscious of that, but she is not accepting the fact that the dog is aggressive and fakes it, but it’s not fair for you. In my opinion, even if the dog wasn’t aggressive with you but for example if you were generally speaking afraid of dogs a friend would have found a compromise to have you and the dog under the same roof ❤️ loving you, best asmrtist on earth 🔥

Australian shepherds are very neurotic. They require a lot of training. They’re also very high energy and need a lot of excise, since they’re herding dogs. They also need to be socialized properly. It’s not a breed for beginners, but they’re super cute so people often get them. Not to dis on your friend, but usually it’s just because the dog hasn’t been socialized or trained properly. The dog is probably protective of its owner especially in their house. Sorry for the rant, I’m a professional dog groomer and dog lover, and it’s hard to watch these types of situations where the dog isn’t getting what it needs and is labeled “mean” or “bad”. And it’s usually just because the owners aren’t well educated on proper care, not that they don’t care or love their dog, but its extremely important to educate yourself on breed specific needs and dog care in general before committing to bringing one into your family. If the dog bites the wrong person it will most likely be put down, which breaks my heart.
@lullabyleahsasmr3 жыл бұрын
I thought of you when filming this!! Hoping you’d maybe have some idea as to why!! That actually makes a lot of sense with the protective thing and that breed, being a herding dog! She did talk a lot to me about that being an issue but I didn’t know why you know. They did hire a good trainer for the dog, but I know she’s been not following through with what the trainer said to do. So it really is a sad situation… I’m hopeful things will get better ❤️
@ArtsyrissaAsmr3 жыл бұрын
@@lullabyleahsasmr Awh that’s so sweet you thought of me! I get it training isn’t easy. It’s going to be a little harder to break bad habits now that the dog is older, but its still is very doable. Best of luck to your friend. Just gotta stick it 🥰
@aj-jh9ci3 жыл бұрын
I agree with this comment but also the dog could be reactive. My dog has similar issues and its genetic for him. Reactive dogs can be tough to handle, they need a ton of training and consistency. They also need a lot of mental and physical stimulation. Mine is a collie so we do training, tricks, mind games, ect. Giving the dog a "job " is very important, especially with working breeds. Also, absolutely love your videos!!

This is so sad! We had an Australian shepherd for 10 years. She passed away this spring and we were devastated. She was absolutely the best dog I've ever had. I brought both of my babies home to this dog and she was so amazing with them. I hope they follow through on training. They can be awesome dogs. Just a thought...we also always had land for her to run. They have lots of energy. It's not a dog you can keep in the house all day. Hope it gets better!

See if your friends can get their dog trained and/or checked out by a vet/animal neurologist. The behavior you're describing could just be an untrained pet, or it could have some kind of brain dysfunction or misfiring. Definitely talk to your friend about this, not just for the safety of them and their guests, but also for the dog. Many dogs who display aggressive behaviors are misunderstood and usually do so for a certain reason, whether its environmental or mental. I'm just worried the dog will hurt the wrong person one day and will get hurt itself :( either way, I'm glad you're ok and also so glad I found your channel! Love your voice & vibes

@@lullabyleahsasmr my god, that is so upsetting tho, especially when it’s your best friends dog, but honestly I personally would be a bit harsh to my friend and straight up tell them to either get that dog off of me or teach it some manners 😂😂 because it’s sooo not acceptable to let the dog bite, and like what? Yell at it? 🙄🙄🙄 what about trying to get it off? 🤭 no no no, not acceptable, u should definitely tell them that it scares you! The dog situation is hard! On one hand she is trying to socialize the dog and get it used to being around people. And she is probably also frustrated as well. But if the dog is making others uncomfortable she should use a muzzle when socializing. Or if she wants to have people over leave the dog in her bedroom or something! My oldest dog passed recently, she was big, and was also very difficult. So I know what it’s like to love the dog so much but struggle to make them behave. One thing that really really helped that you could suggest is for her to keep the dog on a leash when visitors are over, inside the house as well. I would wrap the leash around my waste, or just hold it. But it keeps them in way better control of the dog. The dog will learn to stick by the owners. It also important to avoid yelling when possible and instead use positive reinforcement or distraction.

Hi 💜 after watching your video and hearing your dilemma, If i was you i would definitely be honest with your friend and tell her you feel out of your comfort zone around her dog. Which is more than understandable considering you have been bitten by this dog. As an owner myself of a shepherd (german shepherd not Australian) I know they have similar breed traits for being protective as to what they see as theirs, so it sounds to me the dog is in need of some training when it comes to boundaries and knowing what is a shared space and what is the dogs own space. The dog is still young so it's the best time to implement this with consistent training. I hope this helps! Love your videos by the way 💜💜💜

omg! the dog story is super scary. my best friend had a female boxer and she never gave me any trouble really. super sweet and loving and playful,but i was spending the night at her house once when i was like 22 or so and she had stepped out of the room and i was lying on the air mattress i had slept on that night and this sixty or seventy pound dog comes and literally climbs ontoppa me and pins me to the dang air mattress. i'm like laughing because she wasn't growling or anything and i think she licked me,but she doesn't let me up. so i lay there and holler for my friend who's in another part of the house and finally the dog gets offa me. it wasn't as scary as your experience but i def remember feeling "ok,this is kinda weird...what if she decides to go bizerk?" i totally feel for you. i love dogs but i think it's good for us to always be aware that they can turn on you even when there's no apparent reason for it. Ik I’m mad late faw dis but girl u gotta be honest with your friend about feeling uncomfortable going in her house with the dog, if she’s really your best friend she’ll understand, but you not saying how u really feel is self sabotage, don’t be afraid to speak how u feel, u don’t have to tell her to get rid of the dog or anything just tell her that her dog is making you feel unwelcome and unsafe, maybe u can compromise and she can come to your house, especially being you find yourself alone often, invite her over ! Hope I cud still be helpful 😭💗

where did she buy the dog? Because puppies often do not spend enough time with their mother in stores (this also happens in kennels but less), these puppies are not psychologically balanced. It must be something like that because a dog wouldn't react like that 🤷🏻♀️. or else it can also happen that the dog attacks because he overprotects someone (your friend), especially if it is a shepherd dog (they have special behaviors). maybe someone is trying with your friend's boyfriend🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ Hope it will be okay ❤️

I do believe it was a kinda weird kennel situation like one of those puppy mills unfortunately so I am sure there is something wrong for sure😭 that’s honestly what I’ve been suspecting

@@lullabyleahsasmr there are psychologists or canine specialists for these situations if she is interested 🤷🏻♀️, it's weird to say "canine psychologist" 😂😂

Honestly if this was said in the uk that dog would have been put down. Now I don't necessarily agree with it but the owners need to teach it how to behave. I'm glad you are okay and I love this style of video xx

I’m so sorry about the dog! That’s horrid. I’m scared of dogs myself, they startle me too much with the barking😅 Would’ve thought your friend would atleast be more considerate towards you coming in, as it happened so many times! Surely she knows what will happen by now. I hope they can sort it out, it’s not nice to constantly feel threatened😥❤️ Also yea that feeling happens, it’s why me and my family don’t decorate too early. Cause it just becomes the norm too fast and loses its impact😭🎄LOVEDD every second of this, omg I thought the meow at the end was MY CAT BAHAHAAHA🤣 I looked and everything

No offense, but your friend should NOT be having people over with a dog like that. Sounds like it's protective of the owners and their home. And getting a puppy probably didn't help. Honestly if anyone reported that the animal would be euthanized. I'm sure nobody wants that, but I definitely would not hangout at their house. Maybe see if it acts the same way out in a field?

She should for sure crate her dog when people are around because if this dog continues to shed blood on people someone is going to complain and she will have to put her dog down unfortunately. She should be a lot more caseous. I also think that’s crazy because Australian Shepard’s tend to be super chill/sweet dogs. They’re not known to be vicious.

your friend should really consider enrolling her dog into classes. otherwise the dog is going to get older, continue with the bad behavior, and they’re going to regret not getting to the root of the problem earlier. they’re going to eventually be known as the couple with the house no one wants to visit lol. plus i cant image the dog biting the wrong person and that person suing them or even worse.

but just yelling at the dog right after it bites someone isn’t beneficial and the dog is going to continue.

Maybe you can be honest with her and just say the dog makes u uncomfortable or scared. And ask her to put it in another room when u come over so he can't get to you. Thats what I would say to my friend. Idk just my opinion 🤷♀️. But I hope u figure something out so u don't get bit. 💞

I was attacked by my grandparents Australian Shepherd when I was four. I was badly bitten on the neck. I would be honest w your friend and NOT put yourself in danger by going to their house anymore.

I really hate to say this but your friends don’t sound very responsible with this, they should have done research on the breed before buying. Shepards are typically higher strung and need a certain environment/level of activity as an outlet. Without it they can develop a lot of aggression or anxiety, I’ve seen it myself. They need to commit to a certain level of daily training and exercise/enrichment for the dog, and certainly shouldn’t have gotten another dog before that. I can’t help but feel bad for the dog. Luckily many people are kind and understanding but all it takes is one person or one bad bite and they could be faced with a lawsuit or even worse having to put the dog down. I’m sorry you went through that and I hope everything works out ❤️

I wonder if your friends dog can smell your cats on you or something? That’s odd it literally attacks you when it’s not even provoked 😳 my friend had an Australian shepherd and she was pretty aggressive and they had to give her to another family bc they had small kids and it just wasn’t a good fit. But yeah I’d definitely be terrified to be around the dog 🥴
@lullabyleahsasmr3 жыл бұрын
Yesss they have cats too so you’d think it would be okay but maybe just any unfamiliar animal smell is probably provoking for it it seems like 😫

I'm always Super Honest with my Best Friend, but because of my age,I don't get embarrassed 😳😳😳 Tell your bestie the truth, that you don't feel comfortable going inside her house because of the super aggressive 🐕🐕🐕 To he Honest, they should put the dog in the garage when guests are over.
