I love it when you "write" on the plastic jar with the wooden stick, more than just going in circles with it. I dunno why.

My 9 year old son shares the ability with me to be affected by ASMR. I have always taught him to not be embarrassed of it and to feel lucky to have it.. He puts on his headphones every night and says "It's time for ASMR Mom." He absolutely loves your trigger videos and this one is his favorite. Thank you so much for spending so much of your time in making these incredible videos for people just like my son and I. . .

I remember not being able to sleep one night and decided to find something to help. I stumbled across Hypnosis for Sleep videos, and found that some of them gave me ASMR (although I didn't know what that was at the time). After a month or two of watching those every night, I stumbled across a video with ASMR in the suggestions box. After watching it my eyes opened to an entire community dedicating videos for people like me that can receive this effect. Now I'm a regular ASMR viewer, I watch a video every night to help me sleep. I just wanted to publicly thank all ASMRtists out there for their hard work, keep it up!!!

@ElliottWoodward10 жыл бұрын
I don't but I wish I did! I am fascinated by it all. Have you noticed this tendency all your life? Can you describe the experience?
@RossMiller0110 жыл бұрын
I had actually noticed! It was something my sisters and I always wondered about. We would whisper by each others ears and it would just tickle like crazy. So it wasn't until recently that I was reminded about it and looked it up and found out it was ASMR. Whispers are what trigger me the most. It's very relaxing. It almost feels brought on by a really heightened sense of spacial awareness..? If that makes any sense at all. Sometimes I feel tingles just when people are around me, or if I know someone is standing close behind me. Sometimes I get it even if I sense someone looking at me or staring. I'm not sure if it's a good way to describe it? I'm sure there are plenty of people who have a great sense of what's going on around them without feeling that. One way I've heard it described is like when people 'draw on your back' with their finger you get kind of a strange relaxing feeling. Listening to stereo or 3D Binaural auditory recordings is really neat, because they can "get really close" with sound. And, for me, I think it's that "closeness" that really makes you feel a presence that triggers some kind of "alertness." The feeling itself I feel in my back, kind of starts (probably in my brain) at the start of my neck/head and goes all the way down my spine. It's a kind of mix between a tickle and a muscle spasm..? Sometimes if the whisper ones are too intense I will move my back almost in reflex to get away (not painful, but like when people move away from being tickled). All in all, I think it's super bizarre, but really cool at the same time.
@ElliottWoodward10 жыл бұрын
so do you seek this feeling out? It's pleasureable, right? A tickle is something that one generally avoids...
