ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response it is described as a pleasurable tingling sensation that can be felt most commonly in the back of the scalp and down the spine but not limited to these area's.
I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing?
That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find you trigger, common triggers will often be related to one person focusing on you or another person and watching this person focus or give them attention will trigger it.

Sounds : Crinkle, Tapping, Scratching & multi layering of different sounds together
Almost anything can be a "trigger' for a persons ASMR everybody is different, you just have to find yours.

My 9 year old son shares the ability with me to be affected by ASMR. I have always taught him to not be embarrassed of it and to feel lucky to have it.. He puts on his headphones every night and says "It's time for ASMR Mom." He absolutely loves your trigger videos and this one is his favorite. What works best for me is imagining how the object's texture would feel on a surface. By doing that, it feels like i actually feel it through sound. This is why i love the sounds of different scraping and tapping surfaces/textures.

I don't like the whispering too much, unintelligible whispering is great though. Just mouth noises. The reason I don't like whispering normal is because I will instinctively pay attention to the words and it takes me out of it because I'm trying hard to hear what he is saying.

The wooden blocks are one of my main triggers; along with inaudible whispering, some crinkling sounds and paper turning. A lot of these all have to do with listening to children play.
