For those who don’t know, Vegemite was originally made from the byproducts of beer brewing (it’s not made directly from beer byproducts anymore but most of the ingredients are still functionally identical), so it is possible that the familiar scent that Lloyd is smelling is related to the smell of beer or yeast + a whole ton of salt haha.

You gotta have Vegemite with butter! And for the unfamiliar palette, start with a tiny smearing with a good smearing of butter. The creamy fattiness of the butter tones down some of the sharper notes of the Vegemite. As for the Tim Tams, try biting tiny holes at opposing corner ends and use the Tim Tam as a straw with either milk or coffee (have to eat quick as it melts). The Tim Tam becomes even more of a dessert.

Good to see some Aussie support for the channel. The green and gold Aussie sporting colours look really good on you Lloyd. Vegemite is not designed to be eaten on its own. Your facial expressions were classic - LOL. Need to put butter on your toast for vegemite. Good thick toast - rye bread best, butter, vegemite and a fried runny egg on top best way to go. Mix the runny yolk with the vegemite. Sop it up with the toast. Delicious. Really enjoyed the unveiling of your surprise package and great to see you exploring some Aussie products. As a Aussie ide like to tell you how to eat Vegemite. So you get some white bread, then toast it nicely, and then butter it and spread the vegemite on it. You don’t need much or it will be salty! It’s super annoying when Americans try it and gag or say it’s disgusting. You aren’t supposed to have a whole spoonful of it haha. The way you handled it was awesome and I’ve never seen anyone handle it so calmly before! Thanks for not overreacting so much!

Buttered toast and Vegemite is the best. I feel like some now. Also buttered toast, bit of Vegemite and avocado is great. I sometimes put lemon juice and chilli on top of the avocado. The Vegemite gives it a nice saltiness. Sounds weird but it works. The Vegemite shapes are very good.

I was told by an Aussie to have Tim Tam's with a warm drink like coffee or hot chocolate. Then you nibble one corner of the cookie and dip it in your drink. Nibble off the top of the cookie and slowly drink your warm beverage like it's a straw. I can confirm it is quite delicious!

I forgot about Tiny Teddy's having different facial expressions until this as I haven't had them since I was a kid lol. Other people have already explained proper Vegemite eating and Tim Tam Slam's thank goodness. Just want to mention Cheezels are so big and round because you put them on your fingers! Like put on one on each finger and eat them off one by one. Hearing you pronounce Arnott's like that was also a little funny. Think of it as if you're going to say the name "Arnold", drag out the "ahh" at the start, and if you want to sound it super Australian, pronounce the "nott" like "nut". Arrrnuts. 😊
