ASMR TUTORIAL |Baking Soda Chunks! ..

Here is a quick tutorial on how to make chunks of baking soda for crushing. Full instructions below ⬇️
Supplies:
Large mixing bowl or container
A mold
A hard surface
Ingredients:
Desired amount of Baking Soda
Tiny drop of water
Directions:
Add baking soda to a large container
Then add just a drop of water (don’t worry it’s enough!)
Mix until moist to touch but not sticking together
*If it’s too moist the baking soda will be hard to crumble once dry.
Compress mixture into a mold
Once compressed on a hard surface quickly and assertively (not too hard) turn mold upside down
Mixture should slide out (if not then re compress and try again)
Let the moist baking soda chunk dry for a minimum of 2 days.
Once dry then crush!
*You can reuse the baking soda as many times as you like.

Depends on how thick it is. I was making them but trying to quit. I have over 15 lbs of it. I stopped chewing for a while but when im stressed i chew the powder and chunks. Broke out some teeth doin it as well with the cornstarch chunks😞

I let my molds sit out for 3 days and they were still way too wet they didn't crunch at all. Today I remade some with less water. Definitely harder to get out of the molds without falling apart, one I had to remold 3 times. They're actually in my dehydrator now for 6 hours. Well see!

That dehydrator is gonna make them too hard now. Once the water evaporates from heat, the compound changes in consistency and weight. They become solid like rocks

Not saying that this is a bad way to do it!!! Just say if you compress it into something you would bake with like a cupcake tray for example and put it on 250 on bake for an hour and then let it cool for an hour I think that works too😊🐢

It turns the baking soda into a different compound. It will then be soda ash. Not sure if thats a good thing. Especially for pica eaters. Craving to eat it

Because then the compound changes into soda ash. I dont know what it'll do to skin ,but its definantly bad to chew or ingest if thats what you do with the finished product.
