I love 4c hair. One of my girlfriend's co-workers, who is good friends with us both, has a natural set of locks just like that. She hates maintaining them, and especially getting them wet, but she makes them look SO good. Don't be ashamed. Thank you! I just got a new one actually. It's the Neumann TLM 103. I used to use the RODE NTG1 shotgun mic :) I wouldn't recommend the RODE one though if you are using it inside in an untreated room. I get all my gear from Sweetwater. Their customer service is incredible and if you need some recommendations that are more than happy to help you find the best mic for your goals!
