Those flaps on the inside of the boots are for metal boot hooks that are supposed to help you slide the things on. Kind of like a shoe horn but for riding boots.

Really great boots! What I like especially about these boots is that they don't have laces. Lost of riding boots have laces in front which makes them (in my opinion) look more like shoes with a shaft attached on top. Keep up those great videos with your boots!

Those tabs on the insides of the boots are for "boot pulls", straight metal hooks with a curve on the bottom, which fit into those tabs and make it much easier to pull the boots on. And get a boot jack also for pulling the boots off, especially if your feet have got hot and the boots are glued onto your feet ;-)

Coming from an equestrian most boots if not all have zippers that go from the back of the knee to the heel. My first pair were the pull ons and became to get on and off. Also the more higher end brands of boots are made with super soft leather, you can also get costume made boots as well. The pair of riding you have on all called full seats. The boots with lances are known as field boots and without are dress and then there are really sift boots for dressage and those have no lances. Also most boots come in black. I hope this comments helps and the boots and breeches look great on you plus you should totally giving english riding a go.

This video made my day! I told you you would look pretty and lovely in equestrian riding boots! And it shows! You should use boot hooks to put then on, there should have tabs inside the boot to hook them for putting on. You need a boot jack to easily remove them or the hubby can help in pulling them off Love the look of appreciation on your face putting them on and wearing them! Love that you got the dark brown! You can pair them with black leggings next time! I agree you should do an equestrian video showing these boots, the tuff rider riding boots, and the Tory Burch two tone riding boots.
