Very nice! When you know your colour blind, these tests are always little bit of fun 😀 When I was much younger I was really embarrassed about being colour blind but the more you embrace it the more you can laugh about it with people (respectfully) and help people understand it 👍🏻

Yes it should be embraced. And more understood. Especially in education. It’s why children should be checked at a young age so that teachers are fully aware of the difficulties they may encounter.

@@basicguy99 what annoys me the most is when people first find out and they point to something obviously red or green and ask if I can see it (a couple of people have genuinely thought things that colour were simply invisible to me 🙄 which was hilarious), but that’s mostly because it’s new to them and they don’t understand it yet. Personally, most people I see regularly know i’m colour blind and we’ve had the “what colour do you see?”, “so do you just see black and white?” etc, etc conversation. I don’t mind any of that because usually people are interested to learn about it. After I’ve bored them talking about colour cones and light wave lengths, it doesn’t come up that regularly.

Very fun video! I’ve noticed that I can actually see some “both ways.” For example, in the transformation plates I can see the 4 in 74 as both a 4 and a 1, and for a couple (but not all) of the hidden plates (in this video the first two, 5 and 3) I can see the “hidden numbers.” I know I’m not colorblind though because I could see all the vanishing plates perfectly
@mallyl

I am colourblind and also understand what you mean. My colourblindness isn't very severe but I have situations where I am able to see the actual number and the colourblindness number if I look carefully. It's interesting that you can also do that but have no issues with the vanishing plates. In my opinion they are even harder for myself to see any numbers or not

I have a feeling it is to do with the lighting in this particular video. I can't usually see the hidden, or alternate forms in these roleplays, even the recent one from this channel. But I think the purple light tints the dots slightly away from where they should be to hide the numbers.

You are the best and I think it's because your technique is so natural. There are many components to your spoken word plosives and sibilances that many seem to try to force in to their voice leading to a watery sound. Yours seems the most effortless and the listener notices that subconsciously. I studied sound engineering as a degree and I wish I did my dissertation on ASMR/microphone choices and what components of sound/frequencies played the biggest part in ASMR. It's a strangely fascinating component of psycho acoustics that sound engineers have paid little attention to.

On the transformation plates, for some of them I was able to see both numbers. On the hidden plates, I was able to see a few of them if I focused hard enough. I wonder if I’m slightly colourblind or just perceptive

Interesting to see how your lighting setup affects the plates, normally its a toss up for me not seeing or just barely seeing the pink numbers and lines but in this video their beyond clear. But it did also effect other plates that i would make out before in previous tests invisible to me here, eg the 8/3 plate, couldnt make out anything there this time

Following the channel for mounths but first com. I can discern the hidden plate but i'm not color blind. Oh and has someone who wears glasses (i watch video without glasses before sleep) the channel is really good' and you make me relax and sleep easily ( for info my eyes are 1/10 and 2/10. I'm myopic, hyperopic and astygmatic) Well your channel is really good continue :D

8:23 I could definitely make out that the plate is suppose to reveal a 2, but I’m not supposedly color blind. The next ones were definitely 45 and 73 but I could only tell by the different pigments of the colored spots

Interesting that I could see the 2 before you told us what it was. Not so much the other ones. Might be a fluke as I'm almost positive I don't have deficiency. My son has the Deuter one though. So seeing a 3 instead of an 8 on the one plate makes sense. Great video as always! Hope you have a great New Year's sir.

When your eyesight is so good not only can you see the right numbers but both of them at the same time and alternate between which one you see

This was very interesting. With many of these, I can see both sets.. the “normal” is more pronounced, but I can see the other numbers as well. Similarly, with the lines.. I could see both lines, one being more pronounced than the other. And the end sets with the two colors being equal for ‘normal’.. while I could see both, one was definitely stronger and more defined that the other. Some of the squiggles could be seen but most clearly with peripheral vision as when I’d focus on the line directly, it would be less noticeable. Very curious.

Thank you for doing this. I am colorblind (red/green deficiency). Is there any way I can explain this to people? When I say I’m colorblind they think I can not see any colors. Cheers, love your videos.

I actually saw the number 2 and 73 on the hidden plates and I thought.. damn I wasn't supposed to see that 👁️👄👁️ I didn't notice the other numbers.. until he called them out and my eyes immediately saw them after.. guess I'm slightly colorblind on red/green .. damn
