This is my favorite video to use as background "noise" while working. Reminds me of a silent library, you know with a couple of students sitting a table or two away, whispering to each other while you're reading a book. A rare occurrence in today's noisy culture! I've tried to explain to my friends what ASMR is, but they mostly joke and make fun of it. Sometimes if a bag happens to crinkle they'll say something like "did that give you the tingles?😂" I just feel like ASMR is so cool, how only certain people can hear a certain noise and it calms them down and relaxes them. ever since I was a small child, when I heard a certain noise in class, I would become sleepy or relaxed and once I tried to explain to my mom the sensations I got when I heard a certain noise, but she didn't really understand.one day I searched "white noise videos" because I had no clue what ASMR was, and I saw one of your videos pop up, and after I saw your username I decided to look up ASMR, and I just felt so relieved that other people knew about this weird tingle, and that it was actually a thing. How I found out what ASMR was I was when I was at my friends moms shop and we were playing around until I heard my sister listening to a crunching sound. I saw her watching an ASMRist eating. I wondered what it was and if there were other videos and saw other videos. I started watching mukbangs then got interested in other tingly sounds. I can relate when you said that your friends make fun of you and ask me “was that tingly?” or “Listen, does it give you tingles?” This comment is so relatable! 💕😁

It’s hard to do, but i usually find that not listening to asmr for at least 2 weeks when i loose my tingles almost always makes them come back! And it takes a very long time to loose my asmr sensitivity

I was so frustrated earlier. I had to do so much school work due to being bsent for a while, help my mom with my little sisters, clean the house, etc. I finished my chores, helped my mom, still had homework that was due the next day and was freaking out. ASMR videos always calm me down and this really helped me while writing code (hw). Thank you SO much :) x

Pro Tip: Have some more space between the mic and the pop filter. You need to allow room for the sound pressure to disperse before it gets to the microphone diaphragm. Allowing for a couple of inches more space would mean P, B and other high pressure sounds would not have such an impact. The trade off would be that you are further away from the mic and so it would mean you need to go to slightly more drastic measures to remove noise and edit the sound in general.

ASMR Angel No problem :) Also, It is hard to tell but it seems that you only have 1 layer of tights.. It might be worth adding a second layer on the other side.. that will further disperse the air.. Most pop filters have 2 or 3 layers of special fabric rather than just 1. Even my cheap £6 pop filter has 2 layers.

There are 2 layers on but they are one on top of the other, I'll try putting it over the inner hoop so they have a gap in between them.

Rarely do you see & hear ASMR without the practitioner hitting or rubbing the mic (which I find grating) or tapping other objects. Some talk softly but don't whisper. I've heard dozens of ASMR vids, and for me, this one is THE best. Good job.

Hey *Angel*, What do you think about doing a quiz video with soft spoken questions on general knowledge for example (some interesting questions that you pick, you can do it thematic though if you'd like - it can become series). You might make pauses between questions to give time to whoever likes to answer for themselves and make some noises meanwhile. Then you can read the answer and some additional information/explanation. It's sounds like a good idea to me, it will be my favourite :)

I'm sure that there is a biological/scientific reason why these sounds are so relaxing. They may well be close to the sounds we heard, or interpreted, when we were very young and so get a similar feeling of relaxation or, additionally, we are inherently programmed to feel relaxed around non-spikey human voices, as an indicator of being in a safe environment just as loud explosions make us feel stressed. There's a PhD for someone in that subject !!

Angel I think this is the best Video you've done even if it's your first..Also I believe it is probably the best ASMR video out there..You put me to sleep on more than one occasion..Even though it's called inaudible whisper which means you shouldn't be able to hear it at all but you did correct it to unintelligible whisper. I think you should try one reading from a book which you can hear what you're saying but done in a very low whisper. Same thing here really but a tiny bit more audible just like you did at the introduction to this. You're cut out for this so nice work xx
