I always come back to this video more than any other. I just love a good video game collection tap and whisper video. The GTA trilogy box art is dope. I love the aesthetic. I grew up on those 👌

for those who come back to this video- my most recent game discoveries include some creepy point-and-click games: i have no mouth and i must scream (based on a short story from the 60s that literally had the author involved in producing and voicing the abhorrent antagonist of the game.) also sanitarium, (love the story and concept of this one, and super unsettling 90s cgi graphics) and dark seed, (includes h.r. giger’s artwork) eughh all so creepy but so intriguing, the alien ones especially! i also saw gameplay of the original american mcgee’s alice, and wow.. definitely an isolating, awesome psychological one. ( i had heard about it when i first got into alice madness returns, but was disinterested at the time due to the graphics, ironic because i now appreciate limited graphics now more than ever!) oh yeah, speaking of aliens, this one that really made me think for a bit afterwards was called “drowned god” which has a disturbing story involving the creator. and considering the subject matter in it, it sounds eerie how the real-life event may be connected to the game in some way. (it honestly made my head hurt with how much information was thrown at me, but it seems odd how all the things really do connect.) definitely check these out if you’re looking for a psychological rabbit hole to fall into!

Silent hill is psychological horror Resident evil is action horror and honestly those series are the reasons horror games exist i didnt play silent hill games like that but as a gamer i give it its respect cause they are masterpieces and resident evil as well

This one isn't necessarily a horror game but it's still a very dark psychological thriller. Spec Ops: The Line. It's a game that can't simply be described and it's haunting.

First time on this channel. Just saw this video. A good game you could play on PC (if you have one) is a game called Cry Of Fear, it’s a horror game set in the capital of Sweden. Probably one of the best I’ve played throughout the years, you should give it a try if you have the time for it.

if you have a PS2 fat (or the first PS2 Slim models from 2004 i guess?) you should not even worry about picking up a PS1 because the PS2 is backward compatible , especially the fat one, bc it has the same processor and gpu from the PS1, is native compatibility, it's as good as it gets.

i get the thing for playing in the intended hardware the game was designed for, but if i had the first PS3 (the 2006-2007 mode) i would ditch my PS2 because the PS3 does everything but better (HDMI without that crappy component cable). the same would apply in a PS2 to PS1 situation, but that depends on the model, and theses early models are quite expensive...

I also played resident evil in vr. It was pretty cool but unfortunately I could only play for about 10 minutes before I would get motion sickness :(

@@ASMR_John you know what? i totally forgot that was a thing! it was either layers of fear or biohazard we were playing without even using vr and my bf got motion sick! one of those games has a weird mechanic where it feels like you’re swaying back and forth while standing still.

thank you so much!! 😃 i would say my favorite console is the nintendo ds, it holds the most nostalgia for me and i just love old nintendo products! i would say the playstation 2 is tied or a close second, because i have a lot of great memories with that one as well. i know there are so many i haven’t even played yet!

@@sleepysealasmr, Nintendo DS wasn't popular console in my country. NES/Famicom (and illegal Taiwan/Russian clones) and Game Boy Advance SP were popular and nostalgic! I have own New Nintendo 2DS (with DS-emulation) only 5 years ago, but I also really like all of these consoles! I also like 6 generation and PS2! I most often play in PSP, PS2 and PS4 lot of free time, and I also like play videogames what I never play before!

@15:12 i've bought a ps3 just for bloodborne, resold it, then when red dead 2 came out i went and bought a ps4 pro just for red dead xd my favorite silent hill was silent hill origins on PSP, i played em all but that's gotta be the one I played the most~

that’s awesome, honestly if it’s just to play a couple games you like and then nothing else is really of interest, or those games are already on another console, i can see reselling consoles for that! i don’t believe i’ve played origins all the way through but what i have seen and heard of it’s good. and on psp too, that’s cool!

that’s so awesome you got it! and i totally agree, the chase sequences were my least favorite part. i think there’s almost a point to it, in the sense that the monsters are the least important part of the storyline in that particular game. it’s more of the exploration of emotions and memories that matters :0

thank you! i used to have a ps3- with a few games like journey, jojo’s bizarre adventure all star battle, (can’t remember if there were more off the top) then i ended up selling it + the games bc i had a ps4. (journey is currently on ps4 and all star battle will be on switch soon, so i can always get them again.) i originally wanted to collect games + consoles but decided to just keep my collection small :-)
