so sorry for your loss. I went through the same thing a few years ago. woke up to a knock on the door to hear that my grandpa had passed. he was like a father to me. left a hole in my heart and even though it's been 6 years it's still there. time heals, but the initial shock is a lot to go through. try to stay positive and remember you'll meet him again someday in the afterlife if you believe in that.

Crazy because earlier I was downloading the new free Silent Hill Short Message on my PS5. While that was going, I went on my Series X and noticed on my 360 folder I never touched Bioshock Infinite. I loved 1&2 so I decided to play Infinite instead tonight 😂😆. 11 yrs later and its great. Another great vid! 👍🏽

I don't really play video games anymore but around once every year or two when things are a little too hectic I go on a kick of playing games from 2012 to as far back as 1999. I have no need or desire to play the new stuff. I know what I like. While playing games tends to feel like a waste of time for me, during those kicks this is really nice and nostalgic, simple and fun. Lately while in a stressful job hunt I've been taking an hour every couple nights with an old PC puzzle game called Star Wars Pit Droids. It actually does help you brush up your analytical/logic skills and is really fun for programmers. I've also done a few levels of Halo Wars.

@@FallingUpASMR I think it might be on Steam, but I still have the original disk so that's how I'm playing it. If you can get it for a couple bucks it's definitely worth checking out. Really charming and the art style holds up because it's basically just a 2d isometric game based on sprites, and those sprites, low resolution aside, basically look like The Phantom Menace.

I loved that Bioshock referenced Half-life right at the start... "would you kindly find a crowbar or something"... Straight after a similar opening rail road scene. Great story too, with not just the "now" playing out, but a detailed history being described in letters, voice recordings and advertising posters.
