I feel like my life is pretty tame, but maybe we all have a story to tell. Thanks for the comment!

Palm trees grow all over the British Isles. I grew up in Northern Ireland and would see them in people's yards all over when I lived there. I was curious to see what planting zones those areas compare to and most of the UK and Ireland are roughly comparable to zones 9 and 10. Since there is no real hard frost, a lot of plants that only grow as annuals outside here in the Midwest will survive as perennials there.

I’ve noticed that incorrect dollar sign placement happening so much the past few years and it’s such a pet peeve of mine even though it doesn’t matter at all hahaha

Exactly. Like, who cares and yet I totally care! Lol Thanks for the comment.

Surprisingly, in Europe (not sure if all countries but excluding UK), we usually put the currency symbol after the number. So it would be 1€. But Im pretty sure I was also taught to use it the other way around for $ and £. And sometimes for very old school stuff, you might see it put in front as well (speaking for Germany). I personally feel like its more intuitive to put it after, since thats usually the semantic order (one euro instead of euro, one) But I can’t say if that is the reason for why some Americans dont use the standard way… Edit: I looked up the Wikipedia Article on the € sign. There it says that the €1 order is used in English while the 1 € convention is used in most other European languages. So it must be a UK thing that also stuck in the US after the independence.

Cant speak for others, but i enjoy eating/mouth sounds. The tic tacs sounded great. Maybe when you're (finally) over you're sore throat you can try gum-chewing? Either way loving your videos

It’s a common myth that gum takes 10 years to move through your digestive tract. It moves through the same as everything else!

Try drinking fresh pineapple juice for your residual cough. It contains an enzyme which help to break down phlegm.

Wrigley's had all sorts of desserts in their ads back then. It didn't have anything to do with the gum. 🤷♀️

Like you’ve got gunk built up at the back of your throat? Funny I’ve been having the honey halls in hot water for my sore throat days and on other days I have a tsp of honey added to a green tea bag and 2 small slices of ginger steeped together. It’s helped immensely with ridding my throat of that leftover yuck.

Gum doesn’t stay in your stomach! It moves through your digestive system just like anything else and of course comes out in your stool! 👍🏼
