@kaitlynclem59674 жыл бұрын
I've done wet sets before, and before you brush it out, she's right, it is very Shirley Temple. The curls stay tight and close to your head, so you don't get much length out of them without brushing them out. You can keep some of the original shape by brushing sparingly, but it won't be the same as a spiral perm curl.
@arielg73934 жыл бұрын
@@kaitlynclem5967 Yeah I wasn't expecting it to be the same as a spiral perm but I would love to ruffle my hands through it and tossel it a little to give it some body. Thank you though!!

I did wet set pincurls (based on your earlier tutorial) for both junior and senior prom and I looooooved it! I got so many compliments too! My hair is thick, long, and heavy so i didn't do too much in the ways of styling besides combing my fingers through. It was a healthy way of getting the ringlets I wanted without the heat. Would you ever consider doing a hair tutorial where the curls stay more as curls than waves?
@elithecosmonaut4 жыл бұрын
Hello! I am taking a complete guess bearing in mind I haven't had long hair ever since I transitioned 😅 but by my guess if you just add some anti frizz serum and brush through lightly with your fingertips/a circular brush you should have more of a curl as compared to a wave! Also brushing less hair at a time should keep each curl singularly defined if that's the look you're going for. Good luck to ya! 😅

I love your look and style, and you’re very good at styling your hair! It seems like you’re looking for more of a finger wave style from the root to around the mid-shaft of your hair, and then more volume and curl towards the bottom. If you set the waves in near the top with bobby pins and then did the same pin curls just part way up, I think you’d get the effect you’re going for a lot quicker and easier! I’ve only seen a few of your vids so I hope I’m not giving you tips that you already know. Either way, hope this helps ❤️❤️
