Does anyone else go through this ~ Most days, I feel so ugly, inside and out. It’s those days I feel depressed. It’s those days I just wish, for even a moment, I could feel good about myself. And yeah, I may get compliments like, “You’re so pretty!” or “You’re outfit looks good today!” I say “thank you” to be kind, but I can’t help but think that people feel pity for me, that they’re lying to me, which makes me hate myself even more because I know I should trust my friends who tell me I’m “pretty” but I just don’t see what they see. Thin or thick. I believe we all are equal and there should be no perfect image except what we look like becuse we are perfect no matter our shape or size. I wish we could throw out this garbage of this "idol" thin figure. I'm very insecure about my body. It's not my fault though. Growing up, my mother would tell me that I need to loose weight. EVEN if I was an average size. I would wear a jacket everyday to school because I was afraid that I would get bullied about my weight.
