Asmr can be a great tool for anxiety, but the best coping tool for me is to say a girls names for every letter in the alphabet. Example: A-Anna, B-Bailey, C-Caitlin,etc. I also do boys names, movies, tv shows, and there are so many more. I hope this helps ease your mind. I know you must feel so drained right now. I think your gum obsession might be because mint scents are amazing against nausea, if you get nauseated or motion sickness, a couple drops of mint essential oil on your temples/wrists/back of the ears or even a touch of vapo-rub can help a lot!
