I suffered with perinatal depression, postpartum anxiety and depression! It's extremely hard and even harder to care for yourself when you have to put so much into your littles. I also think society oversimplifies postpartum (ex. you should heal within "x" amount of time, etc.). Our bodies can take YEARS to recover from the effects of pregnancy/birth which is usually a pretty traumatic event. I am praying for you and your journey my friend! I think we always hope it'll be a sprint when in reality postpartum is a marathon. I hope your mental health gets better, this too shall pass ❤ xx

Thank you so much! ❤️ I’m so sorry to hear you struggled too. We are definitely not alone in this! I totally agree that society oversimplifies postpartum. It is such a long journey to feel back to normal. I greatly appreciate your kind words and prayers! ❤️

You aren’t alone! Had 2 kids and I still struggle with mental health daily but every time I seen a doctor they would just prescribe me meds and I went to therapy and honestly therapy seemed to help but now I have no time for it so it’s hard… i got off birth control and that’s helped a little but obviously I still struggle with things

Thank you! ❤️ Yes therapy is a great option but time and money are definitely obstacles for sure! We are not alone in this journey. I wish you the best with healing ❤️

I have a 2 year old son, I’m also and dealing with struggling to get pregnant and had a miscarriage and chemical pregnancy back to back. I have always dealt with anxiety and depression, I was really struggling this year. My dr referred me to a psychiatrist who doe TMS treatments they use a frequency to stimulate the neurons in my brain that control depression and to calm the ones that cause anxiety. I’m only half way through the treatment and It has already been life changing. I highly recommend you looking into it.

I remember in high school when all the girls went to get the shot so they wouldn't have a period (unfortunatelyfor me all birth control makes me bleed constantly). Now, so many women that had taken the shot as birth control for YEARS now are in their 30's and have so many fertility issues 😢

Yes! I really wish more testing went into things regarding women’s health 😞 So sad this has affected so many women.

This is so relatable. Every time I’ve see a doctor in regards to anxiety/depression their solution is medication. While there is nothing wrong with that option, I want to get to the root just like you said. Hang in there mama 🤍

Thank you Linda! ❤️ It’s definitely a long journey to get to the root but I’m hoping it will be worth it!
