I have a friend who works on the Wheeling & Lake Erie. Those would be good to use for inspecting rail equipment and reading the gauges in a locomotive plus the red safety light would be helpful when coupling a train in the yard. That way the engineer can see you even in adverse weather conditions.

It's pretty awesome. Mine is an off brand because the brand name ones are hundreds of dollars... lol too much for me. It's great because it can get your friends attention so no one gets hurt

I enjoyed the video. I watched it while I'm headed to Little Rock for a Comic Con convention with my boyfriend and his parents. I'm going off about 2 hours or less of sleep because I decided it was a great idea to drink a really strong cup of coffee before bed. I admit that I have a caffeine addiction and I'm supposed to be limiting my caffeine intake like my behavioral health therapist suggested.

That's a nice helmet I might go to my local Army Navy Store to buy one for winter because the one winter I was on a Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Caboose. When the caboose moved the icicles fell of the overhung roof on the rear platform and I had my hard hat on and it cracked my hard hat. The Hard hat saved my life, but being that I'm on railroad cars and moving and switching train cars, that's the best safety device to use.

If it's not for ballistics use, you can get the same style and design helmet, but its lighter. It's called a bump helmet. the one i have is a ballistic helmet designed for combat.

Oh that's cool where do they sell them? Because I was going to get one painted in a weathered olive with the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie logo on it. Is it made out of a lighter steel. Reason I ask is my aunt worked in the steel industry since 1985.
