This is the perfect ASMR video. No speaking, no distractions, camera pointed at the hand and objects. Calm, purposeful sounds are glorious. I know ASMR Angel has a beautiful speaking voice, but could we talk her into doing a couple more wrapping videos EXACTLY like this? My birthday is coming up... maybe a b-day gift wrapping session? Pretty please?

I get ASMR all the time in the real world, ever since being a kid, either watching someone iron handkerchiefs or towels, sitting in a car that's being washed by a team or watching someone doodle during a meeting in the office but I don't find that these ASMR videos work for me. I think it's due to me thinking too much about the fact that they're designed to stimulate ASMR and that somehow cancels out the effect, which is a shame, but at least I can always go and get my car hand washed or yes, get a haircut, and enjoy those head tingles again!

Is wrapping gifts in tissue paper the norm in the UK?....Or just for ASMR purposes?

No, this was just for the video. I use tissue paper to fill out gift bags and I use it to wrap presents for elderly relatives or people who might have trouble getting into the gift but normally I'd use nice paper.
