one of my favorite characters! you can see how Salt has only grown more possessive, and butterfly, while still scared, shows a lot more anger and resilience. I think the killing of those innocent helpers are gonna get to butterfly, maybe a sad realization of a slim escape & the lengths Salt is willing to go. such an interesting storyline- amazing!

And the lives he had taken to sate his hunger meant nothing except a failure and guilt in his mates mind. Salt wrapped his fingers around his mates thtoat and leaned close. "We are going back to the cave and going to have a very long conversation about what you did." Salt snarled. "But- all I wanted-!" His mate tried to explain as Salt let go of them and picked them up in his arms, kissing them on the forehead. "No. You've had your chance to explain and to try to force a proposal...its something I cant fathom. You are going to be punished for everything you have done." Salt stated firmly, making his way back to his cave, his captured mate in his arms.

The “I want you to worship me”and the “Do you fear me? Good”make me feel so bad for this butterfly 🦋 like I think if Salt was nicer and less sadistic and learned to control his punishment/bondage kink maybe butterfly wouldn’t be so anxious to get away. But I don’t think Salt is capable of that it’s not in his nature as he says. Poor butterfly deserves some hugs, some hot chocolate, fluffy warm blankets, and a soothing companion. Honestly I hope the poor thing gets a happier ending other than being abused and tortured. As uneasy as the Salt audios make me I do find myself coming back to them because I’m fascinated by spiders 🕷️ and honestly you give Salt a very soothing voice despite how awful what he talks about is
