Fun fact: in scandinavian mythology Mimir also was beheaded. Odin had to sacrifice his eye to bring Mimir back. "Mimir" from latin can be translated as "memory/memorise", which is kinda ironic with the context of the video Another fact from coming here after other videos (spoiler?) Mimir was a giant and in the next series we're moving to a world of giants (also adopted by one) P. S. I know everyone probably already figured out, I just want to write it down P. I have been screaming for the past hour, 17 minutes, and 58 seconds. This was so good! GB, you did an amazing job voicing almost all of the characters and differntiating them enough so we know when it's Odin, Tyr, Captain Daryl, or some other background character we didn't get names of. Gav nailed it with Ulysses. Venus did a beautiful job with Okami. Redacted did wonderful with Fenrir. Palilious with the ART. Now onto a lengthy thingy of a review [SPOILERS AHEAD] (granted... if you are reading this while you're watching/listening to the vid or even before you do, what're you doing??? Go appreciate the blessed 1:17:58 we had with all of this talent and story) ANYWAY We got to learn a lot more about the others this time around, and that was really nice and helped give further insight on them. Ulysses wanted to help. He wanted to help his emperor's grief from losing their brother race, and he believed that the time wheel would have helped. The wheel was as he put it, "grave robbed" from his ancestors, but he justified it in helping his emperor and saving an entire race. He probably would have continued to believe so until we had told him what the time wheel had done in the 4 paths. Okami was scared of the dark as a kid, and her parents didn't like that because of their own character and their clan. They didn't like fear, or the reactions of it. Their reaction to Okami's fear? Leave her in a dark cave, an abyss, and make her survive. It worked. Okami overcame her fear, and left the cave with new found strength. She tore down an empire and built a new one, her own. Understandably, she wants to protect it, because it's something she literally built from the ashes up. She cares for her people, shown by her welcoming of Captain Daryl to the Royal Company. The Company that she trusts so much and wants by her side. Fenrir had also been a part of this. He had been her general and had become a friend and king. When she finds out that Fenrir is dead and that a "clone" as he's referred to by Tyr, she's probably, understandably, heartbroken. Fenrir is dead, yet there is a clone, acting as though he is him, but her Fenrir died. Tyr had made Fenrir an exact copy, only with the "disease" that is passed onto her people because it was put in Tyr. Understandably, that's infuriating. Fenrir cares a lot about his friends. Like the stereotypical wolf, he relies heavily on his friends. Pack tactics and all that. He hates that there is some level of unknown tension between him, Odin, and Tyr, as well as the secret that he is never told by Odin, Tyr, nor us. He doesn't believe in his strength alone. Like, come on... He was a general under Okami, one she asked to become king, and whom she considered a friend. Okami had asked Fenrir, alone, to take care of Odin when he had crashed into their world and was trying to act as one of their people, which was an insult and mockery. He has been king for a while, so he is strong in leadership and all that come with that. He loves his world and people, before all of this conflict, describing it to us. Man prepared TREBUCHETS even with the newer technology in his fleet. I hope he's able to find out what he is and is able to slowly come to terms to it. May be a stretch to also hope for this, but I hope that he and Okami can become friends again Odin. Where do I even go with this man?? After telling him about what we've experienced in the paths, he has so many emotions and questions swimming, but he reins them in to focus on the current situation. He takes the bifrost and in hopes of keeping Tyr and us safe, he breaks(?) it in hopes that we don't follow him. Obviously we do, because of Tyr, but it's the thought that matters. He helps Ulysses out of the situation they find themselves in, ignoring Ulysses at first at his cry for getting the bag and weighing his and Ulysses' safety over a bag. He didn't know we were in there, but that's why he comes back for us. He apologizes for it while we leave. He doesn't want to lose anyone he cares about, as he had Freya, (which I will get back to her in a sec), so he advises Fenrir that they should all stay together instead of be separated to where they would be most able and useful. Then there's the retreat. He tells Fenrir to stay behind, to confront Okami, and to believe in himself. Odin admits that he force his culture onto Fenrir and Okami's world, and he doesn't want that. Fenrir has become his best friend, yet when he asks if he'll see them again, Odin says "goodbye my friend" to Fenrir. He doesn't want Fenrir to fight for Odin, because he knows that it was because of Fenrir's relation to Odin that this is happening essentially. He knows that Fengrels have lost their culture in the one Odin brought to them. As Tyr said, "Through Odin, Kerrelor had a slight technological boom. Essentially, Odin had brought them fire. Compared to Yotans, Fengrels are primitives. Odin transformed their civilization into one that'll achieve space flight in less than a hundred years" (10:51). Odin knows how his actions have affected the Fengrel civilization and culture, and he's hoping to fix it now by distancing himself and setting Fenrir to fight for his people, as he had before meeting Odin. Then there's his relationship with Freya. By helping a race, Odin essentially lost his girlfriend and who was her best friend. This happens again, with Fenrir. To help the Fengrels, he has to say goodbye to Fenrir. I hope that he is able to find his way through his emotions, and maybe finally get an explanation from Freya if they ever meet again. Tyr is dad. He is this floating head's dad and I refuse to think of otherwise atm. The amount of times he has shown affection to us was adorable. I'm really sad that Tyr is still cracking (comparing the art from the paths and this one, there appears to be more cracks, there is also the matter of the omega symbol, associated with Tyr atm, was starting to finally crack in the last second (thank you for making me scream again btw)) He sure does have a knack for those mental locks, offering it to Odin again like it's literally nothing, putting it on the time wheel for EVERYONE who knows of it. My theory on him is still standing though and it's got more evidence to it. His primary desire is revealed to "uncover the nature of life in this reality" and it's hitting close to the theory, where I mentioned how in the Air Path taken, Tyr says “looks like we forgot to set this time wheel back to normal” and I mention my thoughts on who this "we" is, being Tyr and the listener. Not the tiny one, but the listener beyond the 4th wall, us listening to the videos, because if anyone else was like me, when we reached the end of each path, we tried again in another path, with another video, another timeline/possible reality for Tyr. Tyr hints towards a 4th wall break AGAIN during when he comforts the listener the second time. "He may be gone for a few hundred years. A blip in your lifetime I suppose" (1:08:43). HE KNOWS there's someone beyond the tiny head (or body considering we have that now). Also... how are we ending this series/audio? With Tyr, which I am grateful for, but with no idea about the state of the others. Odin's gone on his self journey of figuring out his emotions. Ulysses is back in his home world, where we're told he's okay because he didn't return with the time wheel. Okami and Fenrir are on their home world, and the last thing we know is that they were going to fight. Maybe and hopefully they didn't. Tyr is the only one we are aware that is alive and relatively well (still concerned by the cracked omega symbol, but we'll see). Yes he's like any other mortal, but they're working on ambrosia, so again, we'll see. The two of us have "survived" and now we're going to Tyr's home world. Like what I believe is the reverse of the ending paths. "You've and I've survived" said by Tyr. I hope that Tyr and us can find some happiness though. Father and child duo, let's go! Overall, I am in love. I love these characters, how we've seen them grow (Odin at the very least). This story was amazing, and the paths leading to it are amazing as well. I can tell a lot of work and care went into this, and I'm so happy and thankful for it all. Thank you GB for bringing this all together, creating this story and creating these characters that have placed themselves into my heart. Thank you Palilious for the amazing art and designs of the characters. Thank you Gav for brining out Ulysses in all his glory Thank you Venus for bringing out Okami in her wicked beauty Thank you Redacted for bringing out Fenrir in his growth Thank you all so much for everything If you've gotten all the way through the paragraphs, I honestly commend you for going through all of that. I might have some more if I listen to the last fear tactic Okami presents us with, with all of the voices. I heard some of the rewind whispers again, so maybe. Either way though, I hope you all have a lovely day/night wherever and whenever you are, and that you're able to find a lot of good times to come. Also, hyrdrate, eat, sleep, and take a break. Those are important.

I really appreciate the time and effort you spent writing this! You did amazing and I thank you for looking passed the eye candy that is "Daddy Tyr" lol Allow me to help you out by saying that Fenrir and Okami were not lovers. They had a strong respect for each other, but they weren't in love. When the virus kicked in for Okami, she gave Fenrir a large enough portion of her land to rule over to be considered on equal footing, so they could rule the world side by side in friendship. Finally, for your sake, I'll help you with the spelling of some words. I know people struggle with that. "Fengrel" - Combination of Feral and Mongrel "Kerrelor" - Combination of Kennel, Relic and Lordaeron Let me know if you need anything else, spellingwise! Thank you again for your in depth analysis!

I had to re-watch the entire series before coming to watch this and honestly I'm still in awe over the storytelling. Gonna have to draw this later when I get the chance. (Warning: Long Review Below) Let's begin with the relationship between Tyr and the Listener. The first video that we're introduced in, at first it was just a sort of formal interaction, with Tyr allowing us to choose which element would better suit us/help us in the upcoming situation. Then that relationship gradually grew as we experienced each path, with Tyr becoming more fatherly towards us, and the trust we have for each other. I absolutely adore this dynamic and while I'm sad that it's reached its finale, I'm still glad to have experienced this. Second, the whole Time-Wheel and Odin/Fenrir/Okami issue. This shows us that there isn't really a bad guy in the scenario as each individual had there reasons for why they did what they did. Okami, once regaining her memories, had every right to be infuriated. Wouldn't you be upset if your partner-in-crime was not only murdered, but revived as a sham of their former selves? But Fenrir couldn't have known that he was a copy of the original was murdered, so his confusion on the matter is also valid. While Odin was foolish for going against customs, he only wanted to hang out with his friends and couldn't have ever expected that he'd end up murdering one of them. His obvious guilt once he remembered says a lot. Third, I also enjoyed Ulysses, his bickering with Odin, the respect he has for Tyr (or as he called him Lord Jupiter), and the camaraderie he shared with Fenrir. The few moments he was in were truly great gems. All in all, everyone did an amazing job! The art was amazing and the storytelling was phenomenal as always! Great work GB!

this series is incredible 😭from the voice acting to the story, editing and characters 😭 the way with each "__ spirit" episode the beginning tone grew slightly more and more tense and unsettling, at least to me, was such a good subtle indicator that they weren't just different pathways in a choose-your-own-adventure, but all parts of the wider narrative to be revealed in a finale. i loved the topic of morality in different cultures as well, it's something i think about a lot having grown up with a mixed cultural upbringing. also THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE LISTENER AND TYR IS SO SWEET 😭😭 every time he saw them get upset or hurt or scared, that genuine tone of concern and LOVE HE HAD IN HIS VOICE 😭😭 im sobbing and shaking they are the sweetest :(

WOW. That was a TRIP. I loved how you pulled off the time loop concept! The characters were amazing as always in both writing and voice acting! I love that Tyr/Lord Jupiter/Hades is such a good dad to us! Growing up, I never had a dad, so hearing a voice filled with so much paternal love for the listener was nice. I'm also glad none of the major deaths were actually permanent, unlike the space pirates saga. Anyway, keep up the good work! I just realized this is the first time I'm writing a comment on your videos beyond "Good voice acting!" Sorry about that, I'm just now learning to leave likes and comments on the videos I enjoy watching. I've gotten the liking of the video part down but I never know what to say for the commenting part so I usually don't. I've watched The Querian Saga(While it was good, I'm glad you put it on hiatus when you no longer had the desire to continue it. You should have fun making these, not forcing yourself to continue making a series when you are no longer having fun doing so.), The entire Space Pirates Saga(Season 1 and 2), and all currently released episodes of The Bastard Warrior & Magic of the Heart(MotH). I loved all of them for both the writing and voice acting of all those series! Seriously dude, you are incredible! You have an incredible vocal range, amazing acting skills, and an otherworldly talent for creating beautiful stories! Your skits are also hilarious and I love the meta-character-interactions that occur in some of them! It's sad but... realistic. There's no way to end such a mess. Taking the time wheel means that the rest of the wolf-people will stay wanting to connect to others. Okami is the last of her kind with an absolute isolationist/bloodthirsty mindset. Even if she kills Fenrir, the wolf species won't go on an absolute killing spree across the universe. Poor Fenrir will never know why Odin just abandoned him. Hopefully he's strong enough to survive. If he wins, I imagine he'd do everything he can to push his people to look up at the stars, so that if not he, then at least one of his people can see Odin again. Also fun thought that we only see now - the listener is the same race as Odin... sooo we're some sort of android alien viking. Puts alot into perspective.

I'm just going through but personally at 28:45 (spoilers ahead no pun) I like she trying to torture us and we are just a head I kind forgot the HOLE story but we got decapitated right?? At this point death would be nice instead of being just a head, even if it's painful. But that's me😅

I might be stupid for saying this but, are we Mimir? I mean, we're a head and seem to be friends with Odin. And we seem to know a lot about things.

Rip Mimir(even tho u aren’t dead) you would’ve loved keeping your body and not being just a head‼️

Theory: Freya was dying and thought dumping Odin would be kinder than having him there to watch her die.

Tyr, in the last bit: I think Odin may have gone into isolation. me: hopefully he comes back without losing an eye first. Tyr: what me: what?

i wonder what the mental lock on the time wheel is supposed to represent. Perhaps King Arthur and the sword in the stone? Or the story of Urashima-Taro? Tir na nOg? I cant think of many other myths about time shenanigans and/or lying in wait, but i'm also not well versed on mythology beyond Greek, Norse, and Japanese aside from a few stories here and there
