That’s if Ollie apologizes for acting out of line and not taking his sister’s feelings into the situation and taking off that lens that all men want to take advantage of his sister. I have 2 older brothers and I can tell you that having those types of brothers that would get violent with anyone who comes near me is overkill to a point where I don’t even want to introduce any men in my life without threatening the life out of them. This shits NOT ok and it doesn’t teach your sister how to have healthy relationships. Speaking from a sister, we aren’t our brother’s property. You can’t make fun of us and then act like a possessive boyfriend whenever we have any guys in our lives, especially, if it’s like the way they think, and who care’s it’s our lives we want to live. Girls and women aren’t these shy lambs that need protection. We can fight, ever seen two girls into a fight? That’s BRUTAL if you ask me. All we sisters ask from our brothers to trust us to handle ourselves and if things get too much for us, then step in and help, BUT ONLY to help. Brothers can be a great thing to have, so can sisters, but if brothers act all protective over their sisters, then it can turn into possessiveness. So, if OLLIE himself wants to make amens, he needs to own up to hurting his own sister in a bid to protect her from a guy that’s no stranger to them and knew since even before she was born. He knows this guy that’s been caught in bed with his sister, and his sister knows him too, so he has 0 excuse to not trust the speaker.

@@flavienpras7534 Well, given how Olly straight up abandoned his sister, but yet keeping his friend around, ‘knowing’ that his friend wanted his sister. What he did wasn’t exactally proving that even her own brother won’t protect her if things go south. If his ‘friend’ was a creep, then why keep him around? Shouldn’t a good brother ditch the creepy friend? I guess not in this guy’s case. Olly has the atonement to do and it’s up to the listener if she forgives him for all he did by simply not listening to her. He’s sidelined any of her words in favor of his anger taking over, that isn’t a healthy brother-sister relationship right there. Having siblings can be a blessing and a curse, a blessing because you grow up with beings that wind up being your best friends that will do anything to protect you, but also a curse where you grow up with your worst rival in all of history. But this, this isn’t ok and Olly needs his head out of the clouds and thinking that all men are creeps when his friend, aka, his sister’s friend too, so happened to have a crush on listener.

@@maddymiller4146girl agreed. It’s horrible. I actually had my brother feel like that when me and his friend were going out on dates. I didn’t end up with him cause I didn’t like him like that level. However honestly having brothers like this doesn’t make me want to have guys around cause it’s embarrassing how they act.

@@flowerbloom5782 It’s like they’re using the old patriarchal system of “the woman is a belonging” and using a gun and pointing it another man’s face isn’t going to prevent abusive men from our lives. WE aren’t property and Ollie needs to be the one to be down on his hands and knees and bettering himself to even have a CHANCE at being forgiven. What Ollie did was show that his sister that she can’t trust him to be calm and rational and WILL get her in danger. It might sound nice to have protective brothers, but once you put it into action, then reality sets in and they’re actually crazy misogynistic guys that only view their sisters as their father’s property.
