After going back and listening to this a few times, the writing is REALLY top notch. I love how she slowly builds up to the reveal that she knows what we did, first starting with the questions about the supernatrual, then talking about the chemistry and destiny then slowly giving us the idea she knows we spiked the chocolate with a love potion before overwhelming us with her crushing love. Okay, so given the warning you gave about this being "dark" content, I decided to listen to this while awake, rather than trying to fall asleep. And might I say, that was a good decision. Not because this was too much for me, but because I enjoyed the twists this short story took. I'm very used to Yandere story lines being just sort of..."just because". She's just obsessed with the listener for no reason. It's super interesting having it be entirely my, the listener's, fault. I never would've guessed that I'd have spiked her chocolate with a love potion. And knowing the love potions are an extremely dangerous game to play, you had me invested, and I'm glad it didn't put me to sleep. You have other videos I can use to fall asleep. You've put out even more videos that I can use to put on in the background while I study or whatever. I would love it if more of your videos were dedicated to telling these sorts of weird stories. Even if this video has no business helping me sleep, I loved it anyway for its own qualities.

This reminded me a lot of CapitalASMR’s “Valentine’s Witch Roleplay” where you ask the witch to make a love potion only to realize your crush was in love with you all this time, making her overly obsessive, and the listener ultimately sacrifices himself to restore her sanity. I like to think this roleplay could’ve tied in to what happened during that, given it ends differently to Capitals. I felt so many connections to both videos, it felt like I had a flashback.

I made my own chocolate assortment once. The apricot coconut was kind of messy to make, but came out okay. Most of the rest were just fudge variations. The factories make better peppermint patties than I do; mine had a tendency to dry out, and made everything else in the box taste like peppermint. Always love butterscotch. This is way too perfect, the script and the way voice is kept down and rather sooting which indeed makes this an ASMR. Unlike many other story/roleplay-based "ASMR's" which are more of a burden to listen to for ASMR effect specifically, (which often gets ignored and ends up being just storytelling of sorts).
