it's been years since i played pokemon tcg regularly, but in my opinion pre release events are so fun. i only ever went to one but it was easily the most fun i ever had playing the game at a card store. it's cool that everyone is at the mercy of their pulls instead of having super stacked decks

I mostly agree. The only thing I have to say about the bosses is that they are largely poorly designed. Not from an art standpoint, but from a fighting standpoint. They are super aggressive with the most insane combos. So much so, that soloing with no summons in the DLC is mega, mega impressive. I think that's a legitimate criticism.

I’m from germany so we get Sundays of. I don’t know if you know but almost everything is closed on Sundays except for gas stations and cafes. Everything else is closed

That’s so interesting!! Everything is open here for the most part on Sundays. Things really only close on stat holidays. I can’t imagine how busy things would be on Saturdays if everyone had to all go at once haha. Do you find things to be extra busy? Like if you have to go to the bank or grocery stores or whatever?

@@asmrbybee Saturdays are usually pretty busy but it’s never been as bad as last christmas. Christmas 2023 has been on a monday. That means everything (EVERYTHING) was closed on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It was a true nightmare😂. On normal Saturday everything’s busy but not really bad. It’s what we all know and most grew up with so it’s nothing special. How long are the shops in Canada closed on special days like Christmas/Easter etc?

@@nsw05 Oh my gosh haha that sounds crazy! Honestly I feel like ususally it's just one day. Most things are open on boxing day because of boxing day sales so it's really just xmas day.

Hey, I remember hearing in one of your videos that you work from home. Was it hard to find a remote job? And how did you find one that met with your experience?

Ah so it’s kind of a weird story. My job was fully in person for many years but then we were totally remote during covid and then gradually returned in person but I have an accommodation to work from home most of the time! So unfortunately I don’t have any experience with actually landing a remote job. I wish I did! I think a lot of tech jobs have some sort of flexibility so that might be something to look into. Even if you don’t have experience in the tech field, maybe admin work or something similar!
