In a way yes. The greek gift is any bishop sac on h7/h2 after castling. Greco's pattern utilizes a greek gift, but it is the specific arrangement of the pieces that form this pattern that I'm focusing on.

Fun fact if you do see this: back in the day the best move WAS h5+, but now that en passant was invented and is now a rule of chess, it is Qd3+, because if f5 you en passantt it, if king moves it is Qh7#, so if he had played Kh6 it would be much worse of a calculation for black

Before I fell asleep I managed to spot some variants: After Kg6 I would prefer Qd3+ instead of h5+, cause if black plays Kh6, then just Qh7#, if you try to block with f5 - exf6 and you can't even run to f7 cause of the knight on g5. So the last opportunity is Kh5 but then g4+ Kxg4 Qf3#

I have learned way more from these videos tham gotham or even hikaru. Maybe because I am a 1200 and you are around 1500 so I can really see the small differences between mine and your play, compared to some IM or GM that is way ahead in every chess concept. Combine that with the calming nature of these videos, it actually helps me think faster (because I am not so stressed anymore while playing). So as paradoxical as it may seem, I actually play faster than my oponents thanks to HSMR. Also when I started watching, i was a 1000, got to 1200 mainly thanks to your videos. Hope to battle you soon on an even ground

I feel like I am missing something but at 13:07 instead of queen to d3, isn't there checkmate in the same amount of moves if you go queen to f3? The queen isnt needed to block g6 because the h pawn already defends that square. The only move I see for black with queen to f3 is to move the knight from d5 to f4 and then the queen captures knight on f4, guarded by the dark square bishop for the mate. I mean, unless I have missed something which is entirely possible since I'm not very good, it's a preference thing but still mate in 2.

At 18:00 Black Rook to F7 sacrificing the Rook would save the King... and likely lead to trading the queens where Black Knight could capture the White Queen at D8 after she captures the Black Queen.
