Awww I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. I remember your video during Covid that I found to be so sweet when you & your sister went & met him at his porch and yall went & walked and he told stories. That was such a sweet story of you talking about your Dad, and I still remember that video from several years ago. I’m sorry to hear about your loss 💔 We lost my Nan in September of last year. She was my last grandparent to pass, at the age of 22, it feels wrong to say that I don’t have any grandparents. The phrase that really stuck with me was when my mum said ‘I’m an orphan’ on our way back from the hospital. Hearing that really made me want to appreciate every moment I get to spend with my parents ❤️‍🩹🌈

This video is beautiful on so many levels. Thank you for sharing your family’s story and in general your thoughts on life and mortality. The eggs are lovely. I’m pretty sure they are pisanki/pysanky, just with a different style of decoration you might be used to. I was raised in a polish household and that’s how they were made: drilling the holes, blowing out the innards, etc. Lots of love to you and your family.

What a wonderful video. I have lost both my parents and in both cases found the process of selecting mementos very painful, and I wound up keeping very little. People told me I would regret it but so far I have not. I still haven't been able to face taking out the things I do have to look at them. Maybe one day. Listening to your thoughts was very healing.
